MOKCCI Truelove Dog Boots Waterproof Dog Shoes with Reflective Straps for Small Medium Large Dog Outdoor

While looking for a slightly roomier version of our L/XL 'Trixie' boots, we gave these a try. Bought the size 8 one up from those we had (7 marked on the sole) and the pad was slightly wider which worked for us. The plastic / silicone sole could have been better - more rubberised to last longer, but it is doing reasonably well, considering the scuffing it is getting during walks. The upper is softer and more bulbus around the dogs foot / knuckles, having gone a size up which again is better for us. It is also a soft synthetic material which works well. Though not fully waterproof on the top, it also means the dogs feet get to breathe. We use small socks underneath and they allow us to monitor the water ingress and comfort for the dog. In summary, they fit in line with the guide, stay on if you fasten the velcro tightly enough (have confidence to do so), they keep pollen off the dogs feet and save him damaging his feet as his hips and arthritis causes him to drag his feet when out walking. The Orange colour is a bonus, as they will be easier to spot than our current black ones, should they come off. :-)Soooo good we came back for another set, went for red for a change - need to keep our GSD at the front of the local style charts, 😂. They have been used more now to protect his feet as he ages and scuffs his feet mor often.

The media could not be loaded. I have done extensive research on dog boots as Tucker my German Shepherd has always had problems with his paws. We like to go on long hikes and there have been multiple occasions where he's cut his paws on rocks/sticks or worn the pad away running on rough terrain. These seemed to be a contender for a good boot, that was the cheapest, so I decided to get these first. I was doubtful that I'd be able to buy a decent boot so cheap, as I've heard it's near on impossible to find good ones, however these have pleasently surprised me!The sizing was correct using the measurement guide, and delivery was the next day (Prime). The boots came in a little plastic bag that I will continue to use as storage for them. It is very easy to place on my dogs paws and the two straps give the boot a nice snug fit without effecting the dew claws (as long as they're cut to an appropriate size). After a few minutes of waddling around, Tucker became quite used to them and started walking normally. As you can see in the video, I've given them a small crash course with Tucker sprinting, and the boots did not move or become slack whatsoever! I've yet to use it on rougher terrain but I have high hopes that they will manage to stay put.The only thing I have concerns about is that the boots are not very breathable and therefore might cause rubbing on the paws and hot spots due to sweat. I let Tucker run around in the sun with them for about 20 mins and when I took them off his paws were slightly moist. I'd advise puppy parents to monitor their dog and maybe not leave the boots on for extended periods of time, especially in the hot weather.I wish that you could purchase two pairs of two, rather than one pair of four, as Tuckers front feet are slightly larger than his back. This way you could buy an accurate size for all paws. I've gone with the larger size for all feet and bought some boot socks for his back paws so that the boots aren't loose, which has worked very well. Just would save the additional expense.Overall so far I'd give these boots 9/10, pending durability and performance on rougher terrain.

Our elderly Labrador has been wearing these boots for well over two years and they have made it possible for her to continue enjoying walks in spite of arthritis in her hocks. Back in mid 2020, some time after she was diagnosed with arthritis, she became very reluctant to walk. Luckily we realised that due to her weaker back legs she was dragging her feet and making them sore. She has been wearing these boots ever since and we think that is the reason she has stayed so fit and active. I have just ordered the seventh set of boots! They wear out not because of the quality of the product but because they are very well used and they take the brunt of her dragging toes. As she only wears them on her back feet, we get two pairs with each order which helps. It is a bonus that they keep her feet dry and clean in bad weather, although water can get in over the top. They are also great for hot pavements in the heatwaves we have had. She is now 15 years old and still enjoying a 40 minute walk in the morning and two or three shorter walks throughout the day, we couldn't do this without the boots. We have only ever lost one boot (although they might come off a more active dog) and she gets admiring comments from other dog walkers too.

Can not complain about the quality, it’s just that they don’t stay on my dogs paws for longer than a few minutes so have not been used more than a handful of times, very disappointing as I had high hopes! Sizes were fairly accurate though. Maybe they will stay on smaller breeds. Mine is a very big dog.

When I first received these boots for my dog I was delighted, the fit well and gave her stability and after trying several other boots and socks I was willing to pay extra for them to be waterproof as her feet were getting very wet in the above forementioned. I was so upset to discover on our first outting that they are in no way waterproof and her feet get soaked she might aswell not be wearing them. And when we return from each trip I have to try to dry them for the next day. False advertising.. they are not cheap and i recommend if people are going on wet terrains with their dog DO NOT BUY these.!!

Opzich is de schoen zelf prima alleen mijn hond vond het maar niks dat ik ze steeds aan deed. Ik had ze gekocht omdat ze een wondje onder tussen haar tenen had die niet genas omdat ie steeds nat en vies werd.Nu zie ik alleen net dat er aan de zijkant schaafwonden bij zijn gekomen aan de zijkant van haar kleine teen die dus door de schoentjes komen. Ze leek er wel prima op te lopen ondanks dat ik het idee had dat ze het helemaal niet leuk vond en ze leken ook wel goed te zitten maar zo zie je maar weer. Dus let goed op je hond bij het gebruik van de schoentjes..Ik had wel de juiste maat in ieder geval was die grotere te groot en de kleinere zou zeker te klein zijn
