This light surprised me. It’s heavy enough in that it’s high quality materials. To like the flexible ball joint joint extension holder at the back of the light. It’s a wee difficult to tighten when tightening the screw, but it’s manageable. The light itself is not bulky but thick enough to produce vast light without much heat. I love the remote control! You can turn the lights on and off with the remote and adjust the temperature and percentage of light emitting. Wonderful and from a great distance (I tested more than 15 feet away. Make sure the lights are on different channels if you need to set them differently. You can also use the same channel and remotely control both lights. A bargain!! I used this product at a wedding and the ability to remotely control these lights was superb because the lights were high on C-stands. These are quality built lights; however, they require a V-lock battery that is as much or more than the light itself. I was not expecting that extra battery cost, but I welcome it knowing that these are quality products. I would make another purchase of these lights if necessary.

This is a pretty good light for the money. It’s brightness is perfect for smaller sets with one or two talents. The remote control is helpful as i mounted the light on the ceiling. One remote controls all, which is helpful too for color coordination (unless of course you want different settings on different lights). It can be mounted in a variety of ways. You will want to get a stand or ceiling mounts for it. I never used it with the batteries but its a nice option to have

Not a bad light for the price. Tint leans a just a bit green but it's nothing that can't be fixed in camera with a custom white balance. I'm using it as a key in a softbox with a grid for relatively close talking head type video and never really have it up more than 40%. Often it's at 10-20 percent.Size wise it's super thin. The main reason I bought it was to fit close to a wall and it fits that bill perfectly. Even with a softbox on it it's less then 12 inches front to back. With the mount on the back and the way it attaches to a light stand the actual usable thickness of the light is maybe 6-7 inches, so plan accordingly.Cons? The ball on the mount is difficult to tighten and unless you really crank it down it won't hold a position other then perpendicular to the ground. It also only dims in 10% increments which can make it difficult to get your exposure spot on. According to my cameras, the color temps aren't entirely accurate but they're easily within the ballpark.All in all, is a cheap light that's miles ahead of cheap lights from even just a few years ago. If you don't expect miracles, it'll serve you well.

Battery isn't included with this light, just the power cable. If you plan on using this out in the field it's important that you get the battery. They're well worth the investment, trust me. Everything else with this light is spot on!

Buy one, its the one you want.

Worthless without a softbox.

I bought two of these, light wise, they both work great, but one has a faulty blue bracket, it does not hold the light, the light keep tilting downward with gravity. I probably should contact Neewer see if they are willing to replace the blue bracket.
