Look it
My son has been reading these for a year now and we love when new ones come out. He is 11 almost 12 and reads them on his own in now time.I love them because they are silly, but really good history. IT is a great supplement to any history class.

AP US review
I am a high school student who still loves picture books. This book was a great review for the AP US exam. If you know your stuff you will recognize all the little details. This is the most politically correct book for young students that I have ever read. I also bought some of the other series. Great books!

Comics = Learning without knowing it!!!
We own a few of Chester Comix with Content. This one, Comix Economix (Chester the Crab's Comics with Content Series) , The Civil Rights Freedom Train (Comix With Content) , and War for Independence (Chester the Crab's Comics with Content Series) are favorites in our home. As a former teacher, I am very pleased at the content of these comic books. Kids are learning about Key Facts in History and are having so much fun reading, they don't even know they are learning!!! They are awesome non-fiction comix that teach content!!! Teachers can use these to teach social studies skills and build on literacy skills at the same time. My eight year old loves reading these books either alone or with us to discuss. I know I will hold on to these and pull them out through the years as he studies these topics as he goes through the school system. The best part, each comic comes with a Teacher's Guide that has lessons, activities, and quizzes that match the comic. In this particular comic there are four chapters. Chapter 4 is called Constitution-Class Starship. The Articles of the Confederation are broken down into a spaceship with two parts. Who can fix it? What would a New and Better ship look like? Can the USA regain control of its own destiny or with it be lost out in space? It will grab kids attention and make learning about history fun and get them excited about reading!!! What kid doesn't love comics?
