Darvilles of Windsor Wrapped Tea Bags, Royalty Assam Blend, 2.21 Ounce

If I had not found another that I preferred, it would be OK, but I find it a bit intense with a sharpness to the flavor that I prefer to avoid.

I bought this tea in London when I visited. I am almost out and NEED MORE. This tea is THE BEST MONEY CAN BUY. IS worth the price. Five stars all the way.

I really enjoy the flavor of a good Assam tea. I drink it without sugar, though occasionally with a little milk. I decided to give Darville's of Windsor a try. It's tasty and even when brewed a little stronger is not bitter. It's not been my favorite Assam, but it's a good, solid tea.

I'm accustomed to loose Assam tea; so perhaps that's why this bagged tea just didn't come up to the mark.

I kept expecting a rich maltiness and found none in either aroma or taste. It’s not horrible by any means, but I don’t taste or smell anything characteristic of Assam tea. Apologies to her majesty. 🤭

If you are looking for agreat cup of tea give this a try, it has a great taste and is great to curl up with while reading or a hot bath.

As an inveterate tea drinker, and Anglophile, I've sampled many different varieties of tea in the U.S. and the British Isles. Some were better than others, until I sampled this, on a whim. I now have given up all others, especially for that first cup of morning tea. I prefer it "white" (milk and sugar/honey). It is robust enough not to lose its flavor to the addition of other flavorings, but lacks that bitterness that I thought all teas had. You will not be disappointed. God save the Queen...'s tea!
