SITKAGear Face Mask

This is a mesh face mask. Made of stretch netting. Very similar to a turkey hunting half-mask. Exactly what I was looking for so I didn't have to use face paint anymore. Has an elastic band sewn in to fit it snugly around my head (size 7&1/2). Fits right over the bridge of your nose and just under the eyes to line up the mouth hole perfectly for calling. Use with a Sitka beanie and also a Sitka ball cap. Covers my face and neck for no glare to flare birds. Will be ordering another one to make my hunting buddies wear it when hunting in my boat and blind. No more flaring ducks! Good pice of gear. Just understand what your getting - stretch netting material.

It seems like people either love or hate this mask. I love it. It’s a mesh material as far as breathability it’s top notch while offering excellent concealment. The mouth hole is perfect. When your mouth is closed the hole closes up and flaps over itself. Perfect for me as I dip snuff and drink tons of water while I’m hog hunting so no more constantly pulling my mask down to drink or spit. Some would say it’s overpriced but with Sitka I know I’m paying for the name and ultimately the warranty. It’s a mesh materiel, but it’s double stitched so I don’t think durability will be a huge factor moving forward. It’s a face mask, not a jacket. I don’t expect it to be super durable, nor should it be for what it is. A durable face mask is an uncomfortable face mask in my opinion.

This is my favorite gaiter. Mesh makes it breathable and light. Nose slit for easier breathing. Keeps the bugs off me too.

I like the pattern and weight of this mask for warmer duck hunting, but would look for something a little heavier if I was goose hunting. It is easy to put on and the nose/mouth area fits pretty well, but the mouth could be a little larger for my comfort to bring calls up quickly. It is easy to wash and takes up almost no space when shoved in your pocket, so it is something I keep taking to the field/marsh/pond over and over.

It was comfortable, light mesh. I like the hole in it to drink, eat and use calls. The only issue was the migration of that hole to the side of my face. I kept having to twist it back to center.

Expensive, but matches all my Sitka gear. Great to conceal shine from makeup/face when turkey hunting. Does not provide warmth, but is easy to still drink out of my Yeti cup.

This mask seems great so far. Haven't had any time to see how it holds up, but it fits good and works well for warm weather.
