This was very difficult to put together because of inadequate instructions. When it says to sit on the seat to put pressure which will firmly attach the post to the seat, what you really have to do is whomp (technical term) yourself down as hard as possible. If you don't weigh enough, get someone else to do it, 3 or 4 times. You'll know when it's in place. I'm extremely short, so this doesn't go low enough for me to be comfy, but since I'm using it as a vanity bench, it's okay. This only gets 4 stars because some of the parts look pretty flimsy (but nothing has broken so far, and I don't see any signs of breakage); and the aggravation of trying to put it together.UPDATE: I finally took the wheels off, and now the stool is a teeny bit too low, but I fixed that with a thicker seat cushion. Try adjusting it before you put the wheels on if you don't need it mobile.

Stool works for my purposes but the plastic that covers where the stool inserts to the wheels was flimsy and cracked.It's not a "support" piece" but a cover and was not of the quality of the rest of the stool

Decent quality and easy to put together. Mine was missing the wheels so no 5 Star.

I had broken my ankle so I ordered this so I could roll around my office, not have to use crutches and without having a back or arms on a regular office chair getting in the way, What attracted me to this stool was it's sleek look and that it could be raised up to 28". Perfect since I have a counter height desk...unfortunately it does not stay up! So I have ended up working at my desk with my chin resting on it and trying to write something I can't see! It is like a tiny old lady driving a big Caddie trying to see over the steering wheel! Well...you get what you pay for!

Seat is very slippery had to by a stool cover. Have to put your foot on the bottom rail to keep it from sliding out from under you. Rolls good

As the old saying goes, "You pay for for what you get." These stools are very cheaply constructed, the seat being hollow plastic, plastic wheels and evidence of a re-weld and grind job on the base knocking the finish off completely. We are returning and yet cannot figure out how to take a part due to the wonderful job of how easy it is to put together (seriously, the one plus). I knew better than spend less 70 on a good stool. We now are buying two that are all metal, seat, casters and all.
