The case is very nicely made, the sockets lock into place in it and the tools are held by straps. I'm a little concerned that the straps for the ratchet will wear out, they have to stretch quite a bit to insert the tool. Everything is so well made, with a satin finish on the metal and positive latching of the pieces as you assemble them. The detents on the ratchet allow for small movements to be made. It's certainly pricey, however I hope it lasts him until he's at least my age! Review: Excellent Kit - Wera tools are pricey. No question about it. But I find they are worth the money in general. This set I bought to use as a motorcycle tool kit. Its not expensive for a good motorcycle tool kit. I have a BMW R1150. You can get into some very tight awkward areas with this swivel head ratchet with extensions.. just wish it didn't command such a high price.
