The Little Witch's Book of Spells Hardcover – Illustrated, August 25, 2020

My daughter was asking me for a spell book, so I found this one and thought it’d be perfect for a young, beginner witch. My daughter was absolutely thrilled to receive this beautiful book, and she enjoys reading the sections in the book and working on the spell work and personal work. A million thanks to the writer and illustrator.

She started doing the spells from it right away. The only thing she asked for is she wished it had “secret” spells (not exactly sure what that means). I am still giving 5 stars bc it is promoting positive things like friendship, etc. Beautiful book overall!

I love this for my little witch learners and they were so excited to have a book just for them to learn more about their craft.

We are in our “Familiars stage and this book fit nicely into our rotation. Fun to read, great art work a lovely book for my 7 year old.

I got this book when my daughter turned 6 because she was showing interest and even though she couldn't quite read most of the book yet, she still loved the pictures, and doing the spells with me to help her. Now that she's 8 she is actively using the book to make up her own rituals; I find her magical paraphernalia everywhere now! It's very sweet. I also love how the book gently teaches values like curiosity and self love. It's a very impressive book, we love it <3

I love that fact that children can experience a sense of increased self-confidence and empowerment through the use of this book. The combination of self-care tools, thoughtful spells, beautiful illustrations and creative activities make it a fun read for any child, regardless of gender. It is apparent the author put great care into her writing, as the book is both positive and enlightening. I highly recommend The Little Witch's Book of Spells!

My 9 year old granddaughter took this out of her school library and started to transcribe the book into a notebook. I told her she needed her own copy. She loves it.

I got this for my gender non-conforming son last solstice, since he’s super into magic and wizardry and witches, and he loves it! He had just turned 8 and begun reading on his own more, and I kept finding him looking through this book on his own. It’s well laid out, easy to read in short sections, and isn’t super gendered, like many similar books seem to be geared just for girls. He feels empowered to have some magical practices, especially when he’s having a hard time with something, and he still looks things up in this book to get ideas, 6 months later. He even keeps it out on his desk, for easy reference! Total win, and gets more use than some of the toys he got!UPDATE: he’s now almost 10, and STILL loves this book and keeps it in a place of honor with his growing collection of magical books and accoutrements! (He’s also excited about crystal grid work now…) Definitely a great first magic book for kids!
