These self-watering planters are actually a great purchase for the money. I purchased them for a small herb garden experiment I was trying and as you can see from my picture I have little sprouts. They use a very simple concept. It uses a thin but wide piece of cotton on the bottom of the inner bowl to soak up water from the bottom of the outer bowl keeping your soil always moist. I wouldn't say these planters would be the best for all plants, as some plants prefer extremely dry soil before getting drenched, but for plants like herbs and many other plants that like moist soil this is a really good planter. I love the water window in the front That tells you how much water is left. Some of my plants drink water faster than others apparently and this window gives me a glimpse into which ones need water and which ones can wait. Mine came in three different colors orange, brown, and green. I would not say that they are the best looking planters out there however, they're still pretty cute and considering you get six for under $40 I would say that's a steal! If you're looking for planters that won't break the bank these are a really good choice!

My wife decided to grow mint, basil and spring onions in the kitchen. I purchased potting soil and bought live plants from the grocery store. The pots have two layers, The inner colored liner has relief holes in the bottom that allows for drainage. The colored liner inserts into the larger outer pot that has a window to show the water level. You have the option to water the soil or to pour water directly through a hole at the top and simply fill the beige outer pot with water - this is where the clear window comes in handy. The set includes polyester strips that line the bottom holes and pass through the bottom of the colored pot to wick water into the soil. It is a great value and is ideal for indoor small plants. Great alternative to traditional flower pots with a separate basin to catch the run off of excess water.

I purchased the 6.5" model.The overall diameter of the pot is 6.5", but the effective diameter for where you actually put your plant is roughly two inches less (4.5"). Keep that in mind when you're making your purchase.The overall height of the planter is ~7", however the height of the insert where you put your plant is just under 5", and is even shorter if you account for the lip, closer to 4.5".And the pot is tapered. So the diameter at the bottom of where you can put your plant is just under 4".These measurements worked in my case, but here they are for anyone else since the seller was negligent in providing these.Overall, they are very good pots and do exactly what I need them to do, since I am constantly travelling and not always able to water my plants.

The first and second packages came with either a broken pot or a missing pot because of Amazon’s packaging and/or delivery department. I contacted the seller and got very responsive response. Finally, I received an intact package with beautiful and sturdy pots that I was waiting for. I think T4U is quite trustworthy, and their products are reliable.

I am very pleased with these self watering pots. The containers are well made and the variety of colors for the pot that fits inside is nice. I am missing a wick with one of them, but that can be replaced. I highly recommend these pots. I ordered the 6 1/2 inch pots to hang with my macrame hangers. They look great.

Good product made from strong durable plastic. would be better if they allowed for you to choose the colours of the interior sections yourself when buying a pack. I bought a pack of 6 and one insert was left out! insert colours I got are 1 light brown, 2 orange and 2 green (don't like these ones). It would also be better if you could select a couple of different size pots in a pack.

Loved these. I only need to water about once a week, and the soil stays at the perfect moisture level rather than alternating between soaked after I water and parched later. I sprouted seeds for a bunch of herbs in these pots very successfully. They look pretty good too.

I am a terrible plant parent so these things keep me from un- aliving my plants. I can remember to add weekly water or so, daily not so much.. which is why these work perfectly for me! My plants are thriving! It's so easy to use and they're holding up well in the FL sun and humidity. I keep kitchen herbs in ours and it has made they're growth from seeds amazing. I wish they had cuter colors but I'm just happy I'm not killing all my plants now!

Nice pots, well made. Good size water reservoir compared to pot size. I like the fact that you can add water without lifting out the plant, and also see how much water is left using the window.

Ampia finestrella per il controllo del livello residuo dell'acqua. Acquisto conisgliato.

Die Blumentöpfe sind formschön und zweckmäßig. Meine Pflanzen haben immer genau soviel Wasser wie sie brauchen und durch das Sichtfenster weiß ich wann ich wieviel gießen muss. Super!!!!!

A truly exceptional product. The pots look great, are totally fit for purpose in terms of being a pot and the wicking system works great. My plants are literally watering themselves as promised - I’ve been watching carefully and can see different plants using different amounts of water. So easy to refill.The inner pot is quite a bit smaller but great for young or small plants. Am excited to start growing way more plants with these pots as an option to make watering a non issue.

Perfekt! Die Kräutertöpfe in der Küche gedeihen prima, denn sie nehmen sich soviel Wasser wie sie benötigen. Besonders das Basilikum, welches man ja ausschließlich von unten wässern soll, profitiert sehr davon! Kann ich nur empfehlen!
