Very fair price
The teachers required 1.41 Oz. Glue sticks (12 for each child). This was the only place that I could find affordable ones.

Excellent value - see usage notes for best results.
Excellent value. Purchased these based on previous reviews. They are about 1/3 the cost of many glue sticks of this quality. I use them in my art classroom for collages. As with any and all glue sticks, I instruct my students to apply glue liberally to the backs of the paper shapes to be glued down (making sure to include all edges) AND the surface to which they are to be adhered. This assures a smooth, permanent bond. I hate seeing my kids' collage elements peeling up because they applied just a dab of glue!

Disgusting - A complete Health Hazard to children
I ordered this item for my children and upon opening the box 17 of 30 were molded. I returned and received my replacement. 24 or 30 sticks were moldy and 1 was completely dried out! Well guess what 3 times is NOT a charm... as this replacement has 15 moldy glue sticks, 2 dried out and 13 good ones. This is a children's product, where is the Quality control!

Excellent for Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes
These glue sticks are being included in our shoeboxes sponsored by Samaritan's Purse & Franklin Graham. We prepare the shoeboxes with all sorts of school and toiletry supplies plus toys and surprises that will travel around the world to share Jesus' love. These children live in 3rd world countries where they have meager supplies and may have never received a gift. 9.1 million shoeboxes were collected and sent out last year and 188 million since they began in 1993. A mission worthy of mention.

For 3D Printer Owners Looking for Bed Adhesion - Skip These
As with most products there are "primary uses" along with a lot of others (does everyone really use Kleenex tissues only to blow their nose?).I do not buy Glue Sticks to help children poorly glue pieces of paper crap to other pieces of paper. And unless you are a teacher or have a litter fo children, you're probably not buying a 30-pack of glue sticks for that purpose either. I buy these, in bulk, because I own a 3D printer and very few things work better at making Poly-carbonate or ABS to a glass print bed than common glue sticks (certainly not for the price!).Simply put: for use in 3D printing, the Elmer's brand glue sticks are far superior as a bed adhesion agent. The price of these, however, made it worth the risk of purchase (at the time, they were nearly half the price by weight and I couldn't get a quantity like this in a single order).Upon first using these in the same manner as I've been used to using the Elmer's brand: basically haphazardly applying it to the glass build plate without thought of drying or temperature, I was disappointed to find that these basically didn't work at all. I discovered later that they will work just fine if applied in the following manner:Start with a cold, clean bed. Any previously applied glue stick paste needs to be removed (critical - and this was not something I did often with the Elmer's brand despite it always being recommended in the various forums). Apply a thin, even coating on a cold bed and wait for it to dry about half-way. Begin heating the bed to no less than 100 degrees (at about 70 degrees it didn't work at all for me). It works fine at that temperature. This comes with a small caveat: the sticks I ordered seemed a bit harder than the Elmer's brand. I may very well have gotten a partially dried-up batch. I've had similar problems with partially dried Elmer's sticks and reading the reviews indicates several people complaining about receiving dried-up sticks, so it's possible this was the entire problem and that the formulation of the brand is sound provided you don't receive dry sticks. Regardless, I have 30 of them and they seem to all be about the same level of "dryness" so I have to assume with that consistency that they are this way by design.

CAN be used for 3D printing... with a little help...
If you plan to use these for heat-bed adhesive, you'll want to add some moisture to the print surface first (water, windex, alcohol - what ever you have handy) and then use the glue stick on the wet, heated bed... they're a little dry right out of the box, so a bit of moisture helps get 'em to a useful level. You'll use a little more than usual, but for the price?I haven't tested these under higher temps, but so far 55c~70c work out reasonably well for PLA and PETg assisting with adhesion and helping prevent warping. The real test would be ABS/PC/Nylon when the time comes.

Great price, quality product. Don't use as hair gel, though.
I bought these for my 9-year-old son, who has a three gluestick-per-day habit (he has autism and one of his greatest joys in life is drawing picture collages). We're saving loads of money over buying the two-packs of the name brand gluesticks in the store - we just buy these ones in bulk. They work great - my son has glued his creations to the wall, the table, the television screen... one word of warning: this stuff DOES NOT come out of hair if you take the glue out of the tube and use it as "hair gel." My son now has a summer-friendly buzz cut.

i purhased these for use with my 3d printer for bed adhesion, so far it all works great, hopefully they will last a long time with out drying up or something, cause i am going to use approximately a stick a month so we shall see how it all goes

Same quality as brand name at a lower cost!
I bought several boxes of these for my class, as they go through them alarmingly quickly. I chose these solely for the price (they were the cheapest!) They are every bit as good a quality as Elmer's. I'll definitely be buying these again.
