This case looks to have pretty good all-around protection...all 4 corners and the edges.Aesthetically it's a beautiful case, too. I've avoided the finger rings as I'd only really seen the pop-out type and I don't like those. While this ring is not fully embedded, it does not protrude, doesn't unbalance the case when set flat, is good looking, practical, and doesn't interfere with other use of the phone.I'm also pleased with the magnetic capability of the ring. I've used magnets in the past and stopped using them due to having to use adhesives to stick magnets to phones and/ or cases (causing issues with wireless charging and with turning in phones at upgrade). With this case, should I choose to wirelessly charge the phone, I don't have to worry about a magnet that is glued to the phone. I simply remove the case.
