I was surprised to discover a snack food item I really like (given that there are not very many snack items I am allowed to eat). I am absolutely delighted to discover them.I like the flavor of the white cheddar puffs. They have a quite pleasant, light cheese flavor, with just the right amount of salt, and just the right amount of crunch. I also really like that the ingredients are organic (so no pesticide or GMO issues.)I am sensitive to gluten, so a snack that is gluten free--and that has a taste I like--is a really nice find. The calories are not too bad (especially compared to other snack foods). There are approximately 105 calories in one cup of the puffs.The bag says a serving is one and a quarter cups. However, I use a system where 15 grams of carbohydrate is one serving. It turns out that one cup of the puffs is 15 grams of carbohydrate, so, for me, one cup is just right! There are about five cups in the bag, so this makes five servings for me. (For those of you who use the serving size listed on the bag, there are four servings in the bag.)Anyway, I definitely recommend you give them a try to see if you like them. Everyone's taste buds are different, though, so you cannot tell from a review whether or not you will like their flavor. My taste buds like them. Maybe yours will, too.

When I first purchased these, I didn't realize they were vegan. Upon opening the bag and just stuffing my face, I noticed I was halfway through the bag before realizing it. I really liked them!! The cheese flavor and texture was great, and upon being impressed I actually paid a little more attention to the bag! I was shocked to see they were vegan, because they really did taste like cheese and were very good. Some puffs made with real cheese are not this good. I will definitely be purchasing more.

These puffs are the definition of great taste without the guilt...or bloating from dairy. I'm already a huge fan of Earth Balance natural buttery spread because it allows me to enjoy my morning English muffin or bagel with fruit spread and the taste of fresh butter dripping down my fingers, without the uncomfortable pressure in my lower half later on. I thought giving up butter would be more of a struggle and certainly life without a cheesy snack from time to time would be too much to give up. Enter Earth Balance. Not only are these puffs delicious but your fingers are left with a tasty powder just like the old cheese puffs you were used to. The big difference is that the old puffs were full of preservatives, artificial colors and probably hydrogenated oils/trans fats...yummy. The amount of sodium is 180 mg per serving in a four serving bag. Still lower than any other chemically treated snack I've come across. However there is some bad news in all of this..I just ate the last puff.

God awful globs of dry, flavorless mush that turn to glue in your mouth! I tried giving them to my dog and after the first one even she wouldn't eat them so I took them to work thinking, surely out of a building of over 150 people there had to be at least one vegan who would take them. Most people wouldn't even try them and the few adventurous folks who did were in agreement with me that they were horrible (most even spit them out into the trash can) so they ended up getting thrown away.

These were ok, but not great. The flavor was just so so. I ate some of the bag and left the majority of it. For those vegans that really need a snack, these will really depend on your palate. Wanted to like them, but they were a miss for me.

When we received the item we thought it was an empty bag. When purchasing the item we thought this was at least a 12 oz bag...our bad..this is only a 4 oz bag which is the amount that can be put in a childs lunchbox. The bag is portrayed in the photo and also is a regular size bag but beware when you open it you get very little product. We counted approximately two dozen puffs..did not even fill 1/4 of the bag...Our fault for not reading it was 4 oz ! The puffs were good but a little too pricey for my money. Trust me you can get the equivalent of these at many different stores for a lot less money and a lot more product in the bag.

i never snack on such snacks but when i do, i snack on this one for reasons that are twofold: it's puffy and it's cheesy. they are soft yet crisp, and many but so few that i eat the whole bag at once. i dont think i'd marry them because i am too goal oriented but i would let them be my grandma.

I'm addicted! I discovered them while searching prime pantry for vegan snacks. I had never seen them before, but thought I would give them a try since there weren't many other vegan options on prime pantry. I've been addicted ever since!It's to the point where I have been checking almost daily to see when they come back in stock so I can order more. After going probably a month without them, I got frustrated and drove to the closest store that has them – an hour and a half away. Granted, I went there for other harder-to-find food items as well, but this was my main push. That's how good these things are! I called them my vegan Cheetoh's.
