Also works with non washlet+ S550e models
I own both a washlet + and regular washlet s550e. Both on Drake toilets from Toto. I’m happy to report the same kit works on both! The flapper function is pretty straightforward, just a lever that pulls up a chain similar to the aftermarket auto flush kits I’ve seen on amazon except those are motion sensors based and battery powered. So long as you have an s550e even if it’s not the washlet plus unit this will absolutely work. Ideally also better to have a toto toilet so the internals match up since this sits on top of the overflow tube but if you’re handy you could still make it work on a non toto toilet. The 6 min video from toto was really helpful for the install, don’t skip the remote control programming step at the end because otherwise it defaults to a two stage flush mode which means it will try to light flush on a flapper which won’t work. Takes a few seconds but complete that step or it will drive you crazy like it did me until I realized I should not have skipped that.

Fits 20 Year old Toto toilet, needs easy mod
My old toilet is TOTO Drake 1.6Gpf, ST743s. Upgraded drain valve to THU441.10J. Then installed bidet S550e (SW3056AT40-01) and finally auto flush unit THU767.As other reviewer suggested, the (female) tube of THU767 is much larger for (male) overflow tube of THU441. I don't have 3d printer. So I just searched up and down in my home for a shim tube. Fortunately, I found a very old "IcyHot Vapor Gel 2oz" whose cap fits my purpose perfectly. The mounting of THU767 over THU441 is tight enough to prevent THU767 from rotating when operating. I just needed to cut a hole in middle of the shim so the water from the small fill tube can go through.I would give 5 star if Toto provided the shim in box for more compatibility.

Very happy
Works great with a Toto Drake II (tanks is a ST454EA) and S550E (SW3056) washlet. Very happy with it. Only place for improvement would be the installation instructions.

Exactly what I needed
This product arrived well packed and with everything needed to install. The instructions were more helpful when paired with the online demonstration of how to connect. My toilet and wash let were installed by a plumber so I had to familiarize myself with how to get the wash let seat off, and what exactly I needed to do. But, with patience I was able to install it myself fairly easily. It definitely makes it easier to flush. Mainly because my husband and I are both tall and the manual flush mechanism requires you to bend and reach around the seat lid because of the automatic open/close lid feature. Now it’s easy to either wait for the auto flush or touch the button on the remote. The manual flush still works as it does stay connected to the flapper.**make sure to get the right part for your setup**. There are 2-3 available that are similar to this one.

Worked great as described
Manual is a bit confusing so best to youtube it. Works great as described and be careful to make sure it is both compatible with your washlet and toilet.

Any Chain Flapper
It will connect to any chain flapper. There’s bad information in the q and a saying it doesn’t. I just connected it to my chain flapper and it works great.

May not fit
I was mistaken thinking the kit would work on any 1.28 gpf Toto. I have now come to believe it will only fit washlet + Toto toilets. I modified it to fit my toilet, but it took considerable effort to a) shim my 1.25 belled end overflow tube to the 1-3/8" motor assy spigot, b) rotate the entire flush valve assy approximately 90 deg counterclockwise to make room for the motor, and c) bend the manual flush rod to clear the motor. Extra care was required to make sure the valve to tank clamp screws were seated firmly and tightened evenly, and chains from motor and manual rod required non standard adjustment/attachment. Happily, it now works great!
