BH Cosmetics Eyeshadow Palette, Modern Mattes

I purchased this palette with relatively low-ish expectations as far as quality and color payoff. It isn't that obvious in the photo, but I used Milani's eyeshadow primer on the upper half of my arm running all the way across the different shadows. So the lower portion of the arm/swatches has no primer. I highly recommended wearing a primer underneath the shadows because it definitely helps the colors pop as well as makes a huge difference in how long they last. Shadows 9 and 24 actually stained my fingers/arm a little. I haven't worn those two on my eyes yet, but the stain wasn't so bad that I won't still try them out. These swatches are not a single pass with my finger, I had to layer a bit to get them as they are. They blend out decently on the eye with brushes and don't have a lot of messy fallout. The nudes on this palette are not great quality, but if you already have some matte nude shadows you like, these aren't anything you wouldn't already have. Overall, these aren't going to compete with high end brands or even good drugstore shadows (I love NYX), but the bright colors are fun and with a little extra blending I personally think it's worth the price paid. Just don't expect MAC shadows and you shouldn't be too disappointed.

I'm sure I can't be the only one out there who gets allergic conjunctivitis from most eye makeups. I've determined through trial, error and google, that it's due to the red dye (or carmine) that's typically used. I'm ecstatic that BH Cosmetics offers a wide range of fun colors without the use of this ingredient! I can finally wear plums and pinks with no adverse reaction! I have 3 of their pallettes, and they're all awesome!

The palette is of great colours very pigmented and each pan is of descent size. I love that these are matte and I can use some shades as highlighter and contour. But I should have bought from the website. Might have been packaged well and not arrived broken. The broken plastic pieces werent even in the box. Sad. Could have paid extra for a bubble wrap.

I really enjoy the color story for this palette; however, there is a bit of excess powder from the pan. I was doing a full cosplay face look with the Reds, and hit pan on one of the colors the first time I used it. That being said, I was using a large amount of product; however, I've done the same with Sugarpill products, and never hit pan on the first use. BUT, the price of this palette is cheaper than many other palettes - and with that fact in hand, I would say that it is definitely worth the price. It applies well, and the formula is strong: there are just issues with the excess fall out from the pan.@CrimsynCosplay

I'm still new to the world of eyeshadow so I didn't want to spend a fortune on some designer palette. I love that there are a variety of colors from bright and crazy to soft and nude-toned. It is well-pigmented and in my opinion is very easy to apply and blend. It works best when used with an eye primer. The colors look exactly as they appear in the picture!

100% these are the best pigmented colors for the price. Guys, I searched over a week online trying to find good saturated colors.The trick is to add a shine finish overtop matt color. Don't go shiny with eyeshadow it's too sheer. This product is the foundation for your true color.I use the browns for my eyebrows.

Not the most pigmented pallet, it's alright for the price though.The outer case came cracked but that probably happened during shipping.I wouldn't buy again.

The palette is not very pigmented, so make sure you use eye shadow primer first. During the application I noticed there was a lot of fall out, and I had to go back into the eye shadow several times before I got the desired amount onto my eyelids. Overall I would rate this palette a 2 out of 5.

Colors are all good.. but its not very pigmented... Can say powder types...There are more options available and u can purchase in less amount
