Buffalo Tools Sportsman GENCOVER-XL Universal Weatherproof Generator Cover, X-Large, Tan

Good quality and works well on my Honda generator. I was going to get the Large size but based on reviews I took a closer look at the stated dimensions and decided on the XL. Width and height are great. It is about 5" long for my generator but I expected that based on the dimensions. I think the little extra length will be good so I can cover it when I have something connected. Of course I would not run the generator when covered.I was going to opt for the Honda cover but I found out those are not "fitted" for a specific model so it would have been a little large and over 2x the price of this one. Also like to not advertise there is something Honda under the cover. I would recommend this cover to others.

Excellent cover for generator or portable compressor. Well made, thick and durable in all weather. Has draw string pulls to snug around base or bottom. Keeps water, snow and dirt off equipment. Even in cold weather it remains flexible. Just keep off hot exhaust or it will melt the cover. I use a welding blanket to line underside of cover so I can cover equipment quickly without waiting for it to cool. You should expect a couple of years of use from, unless you leave out in the sun everyday, like I do. This cover is subject to all weather, 365 days. It starting to show wear and tear. Sun fade on top and some cracking on the inside, but it still seems to be water resistant. Its 2 years old and will probably need to be replaced next year. But still love the cover for what it is. Oh yeah, it has been in the bed of my truck everyday for 2 years, so it has held up well to all weather, snow and freezing temps, sun and heat, rain and wind, and still keeps equipment dry.

I have used this generator cover for a couple of months now its made of a very durable material and should last for quite a long time. Please Note to make sure and measure your particular generator to assure that it will fit correctly It states that it fits most generators up to 7000 Watts this was the Large Sportsman cover and my generator was a Cat RP 5500 Watt and it did not come close to fitting. I repurchased the XL Sportsman generator Cover to fit my Cat RP 5500 Generator and have been was very pleased. I Would Highly Recommend this Sportsman Generator Cover and give it a Five Stars (5) rating Michael

These things are incredible, and should be marketed as much more than generator covers!I do some basic woodworking under the carport, and if I don't finish a project in one day, I'd rather not have to move everything back into the shed if I'll be back at it the next day. So, I like having these to protect my power tools from the elements, temporarily. Although, I like these so much, I'm starting to think what else could use dust/moisture protection while in storage/shed/garage/etc.Feels heavy duty and waterproof. The exterior has a different texture than the interior, so I believe the water tightness comes from the more vinyl feeling interior lining. If your covering needs require strict tolerances, pay attention to the listed dimensions and don't rely on the cinch cord. It's more to hold everything in place, not a lot of tightening occurs...

Bought this for my Honda EM6500 and it fit a little loose but the adjustable strings allowed me to pull it tight around the bottom . We had some pretty bad winds a few days in a row followed by a nor’easter. The generator was outside and ready to go in case of a power outage and I checked on it regularly. This cover stayed on securely and kept the generator dry . There was even a puddle of water on top between the frame rails and gas tank which never seeped through so I am impressed . It’s a great buy .

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this cover. For the price I was expecting it to be much thinner and flimsier. I'm sure this will have no problems covering the generator for my RV at highway speeds for extended travel. I did have to take the handles of my generator off but that is a generator design problem and actually makes it harder to steal.

Generator cover was as I expected from the description of the product. Very well stitched and heavy weight material. Even though it is protected the heavy winds and rains have not disturbed it due to the full coverage (wheels included) and being able to tighten the bottom with the drawstring. Would definitely recommend this product!

Got a new generator and the manufacturer suggested I buy their expensive cover. Found this one with the exact same specifications and gave it a try. The material feels extremely durable and the cord seems very strong. Usually when I get stuff like this online it's kind of shoddy but I am super pleased with this product.
