Huge improvement, good concept and story
Played it on Halloween with my fiancé. Much better story than Man of Medan in my opinion; keeps you guessing as to what is happening and how to stop it through most of the playthrough. Both of us enjoyed the story; not very scary, but decent jump scares. As before this was a huge improvement on Man of Medan, though not as good as Until Dawn. Looking forward to the next one in the series.

Are You Brave Enough to Explore Little Hope?
The Dark Pictures: Little Hope is the second installment in the horror anthology series by Supermassive Games, and it doesn't disappoint. As a horror game enthusiast, I was eager to dive into this spine-chilling adventure on my PlayStation 4, and I was not disappointed. The game begins with a group of college students and their professor, who find themselves stranded in a mysterious and abandoned town called Little Hope. The town is shrouded in dark history, and as they try to find a way out, they begin to experience horrific visions that seem to be connected to the town's past. The Dark Pictures: Little Hope is a game that thrives on tension and suspense. The game's atmosphere is haunting and eerie, with a soundtrack that heightens the sense of dread. The player must make choices that affect the story's outcome, and each decision can mean the difference between life and death for the characters. The game's graphics are also a standout feature. The character models are highly detailed and realistic, and the game's environments are beautifully rendered. The game's cinematography adds to the overall experience, with the camera angles and lighting creating a cinematic feel that draws the player into the game's world. One of the most impressive aspects of The Dark Pictures: Little Hope is its replay value. The game has multiple story paths and endings, which means that the player can experience different outcomes based on their choices. This makes the game highly replayable, as the player can go back and try different paths to see the various endings. Overall, The Dark Pictures: Little Hope is an excellent horror game that delivers a terrifying and immersive experience. It's a game that will keep you on the edge of your seat and make you jump at every shadow. If you're a fan of horror games, this is one game you don't want to miss.

Worth Your Time If You Had Trouble With The First
Dark Pictures: Man Of Medan had solid acting and decent writing, but was frustrating to play. Button prompts popped up out of nowhere, you couldn't immediately tell if you'd scrubbed one, and often you'd hit a button at what you were sure was the right time, and the prompt would fail. Little Hope has fixed all of that bad feel without really changing the difficulty. You get warnings before prompts. It's always clear what you're supposed to press. Plus there's some genuine forgiveness for bad choices---you're not always going to be immediately insta'd if you make a bad call. That said, it's still challenging, and difficulty is a mix of doing the right button inputs and making the right choices. Little Hope is also really solid graphically. I haven't hit any spots where things looked wooden or clay-like. On the contrary, I've been seriously impressed a couple of times, which is rare for me. Graphics don't usually have much of an effect on me unless they're extremely bad or extremely good. Little Hope's weakness though, is its writing. For story reasons, the characters' don't really get to establish themselves as much as they do in Man Of Medan. It's also really easy for there to be at least one that you strongly dislike, provided there are literally any personalities that clash with yours. One did grow on me, but then I mixed up an input and she died right as it looked like she was about to have a story arc, so I hope you have better luck. The overall plot is a little Silent Hill-y, which is nice, but it's weird to see characters who are presumably from New England saying things like "wow, they burned *witches* here? Why would anyone do that?" Still, the quantum leap in terms of playability does a lot to make me recommend this game. Supermassive is really leaning into the anthology format, and making each game in the series feel different, and with the welcome changes to the controls I'm excited to see where they go from here.

Fun split second decision making game
I love Until Dawn years ago and I loved this one just as much. Really love the quick split second decision making gameplay. Really adds to the fear factor of the game. This game wasn’t quite as long as Until Dawn but other then that the story was great. Had a blast playing it online with a friend too which was a nice added feature to the story mode.

Storyline wasnt that great according to my son, who I got this for. It ended too soon though it is interesting to play. It has 6 different endings, so the path you choose decides how soon or how well you do. Gives you a reason to play again and again. Not very scary either.
