Decent
Bright and clear. Single would magnetic pickup breeds noise. I had to get a noise gate to control it. I'm satisfied but I should have got a humbucker.

Great Pickup, Easy to install wonderful sound
My dobro initially had a nashville pickup under the spider pickup which was ok but I had feedback issues at any reasonable volume . The Lace sensor did away with that as well as improving the tone . Super easy to install . I had read bad reviews of the Lace and was unsure but then I'd seen Videos of Jerry Douglas with one on an instrument. I should have gotten the Lace Sensor years ago .. Highly recommended .

Does a great job!
I installed this on a Gold Tone Paul Beard model square neck resonator with out any problems.Using the included double sided adhesive worked very well to mount the pick up and I am happy with the installation.I had previously used a Gold Tone ABS microphone attachment, which was a bit difficult to install each time I needed to plug in (I could not leave it installed while in the case) and I had some issue with feedback here and there. With the Lace, I am ready to go with no setup, have zero issue with feedback and the pickup sounds very good.Highly recommend using a decent pre-amp - I run this into a Pure XL Preamp (K&K) to a Fishman Loudbox Artist which in turn I use the DI output to a PA.

It sounds amazing
Installed easily (if you know what your doing) on my Recording King Square neck resonator. It sounds amazing! Even better than I had hoped. And it looks good too.
