Tastes unexpectedly good for a supplement!!!
Dr recommended this to help my sleep issues. She recc’ed a trio of supplements but this was the only one that was new to me (the other two are inositol and Magnesium glycinate). In combination with all the other things I’m doing towards better sleep during this new phase in life (peri-menopause??)—this has helped. But its true value to me is that it makes my matcha taste so good. I love coffee but bc of an increase in UTI’s and other reasons—I’ve bn needing to find an alternative to my morning beverage. Mushroom coffee, tea, tried so many—but nothing as satisfying.I’ve never liked matcha but I knew i could “train” my tongue if it was for all its health benefits (PCOS,etc). This glycine mixed w my matcha makes it my favorite part of my morning now!! We havent added sugar to any of our drinks for over a decade—so we can “save” that sugar and calories for something more worthy, lol. But this glycine gives just the slightest sweetness and makes the matcha not just palatable but delightful. And when i discovered alllll the other benefits of glycine powder like it aiding collagen production and hence helping joint health, SKINNNNN, reducing insulin resistance, helping produce glutathione (a powerful antioxidant), and so many more—I was hooked. It mixes so easily in hot beverages, helps me feel better overall. My skin looking better might be a placebo effect, but as part of a holistic approach to better sleep and health—I’ve been loving this glycine powder.

Pure, Effective, and Versatile Glycine Powder
As someone who values ingredient transparency and quality, I'm thoroughly impressed with BulkSupplements.com's Glycine Powder. The packaging is minimal but secure, and the product itself is exactly what it claims to be: pure glycine, with no fillers, flavors, or unnecessary additives. It mixes easily into water, smoothies, or even warm tea—despite being unflavored, it has a naturally sweet taste that's quite pleasant.I’ve been using this as part of my nightly wind-down routine, and it noticeably supports better sleep and mental calm. Also helpful for joint support and overall recovery post-workout. It's lab-tested and gluten-free, which is important for anyone with dietary restrictions. The resealable pouch is sturdy, and the price-to-quality ratio is excellent. If you're looking for a clean, effective amino acid supplement, this is a no-brainer.✅ Highly recommended.

Good for sleep and other things
I take this as an internal stress reducer (as in, not emotional stress caused by external stressors) and for some other benefits I read about. I read an interesting article about it on 180d health website.Seems good. It is naturally very sweet, so I put it in my fruit smoothies instead of sugar. I'm not good at taking this regularly, but it does affect my sleep when I do. There may be other factors involved, but my impression is that if I take it right before bed, I sleep less well. If I take it mid-morning or during the day-ish whenever, I sleep like a rock. As in, I fall asleep quickly at night and wake up the next morning, feeling as if I had just laid my head down on the pillow. For context, I sleep pretty well to begin with, occasionally getting up once in the night to pee, but mostly sleeping through the night.Another impression, hard to know for sure if it is caused by this or not, but seems to happen together: if I take a higher dose of this, like more than a 1/2 teaspoon, I get a little headache. So, I keep it at about a 1/2 teaspoon.I mix this with collagen hydrolysate or collagen peptides to have a 'high glycine collagen.' Which gets me closer to the amount of glycine I want per day for cheaper, since this is cheaper than the collagen. I don't feel comfortable JUST taking this, since in nature it is never found so isolated, so I try to sort of balance it with other amino acids by mixing with collagen, as I said before.

Longevity supplement & sweetener
It’s just an amino acid but I mostly take bc as I age bc we only make 3g a day & need much more, closer to 12-15g a day by body to support other processes like glutathione, heme, creatine & collagen synthesis, so it’s anti-aging, but also mimics methionine restriction to counter a high meat diet (I eat 1lb chicken/day bodybuilding) so more glycine can offset potential long term damage from too much dietary methionine on organs from meat shown in mouse studies; so why not? it’s cheap and a great sweetener that actually regulates blood sugar similar to allulose. Also many human studies showing great for oral health & keeping blood sugar low as well as helping sleep (increases brain serotonin), great for improving gut health & even immunity as well as being a building block of protein. So I’d rank it at least A tier possibly S, up there with creatine, maybe better depending on RCT studies u believe. It’s not gonna be as sweet as sugar but for most of us these days that much sweetness is too much anyways, imho.
