Brave As Can Be: A Book of Courage (Growing Hearts)

We love all of these books, such great messages. We don’t always make it to church and thses books have great lessons, morals, and values that young ones can be taught.

Had the heart bok about feelings and my daughter loves that one. Was looking for a book about being afraid since she hates the dark and found this. She (4) loves this book too. It has been great before bed and reminds her of how she is brave.

This book is so adorable!! But the story didn’t really hit the mark. I was hoping (guessing) it would pose a fear and say how to overcome it, but it didn’t do that. I was really hoping to love this book as I have other books from the same author. I am also wondering if there will be a book with a little boy main character or big brother book?

This book is adorable! My daughter is 3 and is starting to show fears of thunder, dogs, mommy leaving etc. I love how this book introduces the topic and how she overcame her fears.

Great book easy to read with a great message! I would buy it again for sure.

Such a wonderful book- colorful illustrations and simply written. My daughter has me read this every night and I think it has helped her face some of her fears.

We love this serie of Jo Witek. Special cutouts and illustrations excite my 6 year old girl everytime. Thanks to their stories I go with the "love" and "brave" books of the serie tough, my girl loves this book "joy" most, since she opens several windows on each page and enjoys the surprise.

I ordered several of Jo Witek books and my 5 yr old granddaughter loves all of them

Pictures are a bit too scary for bedtime reading for preschoolers. Not images you'd want to go to sleep on. The words are ok. The scary pictures continue throughout the book , not much relief from it. Would be OK , with less scary pictures/cut outs, otherwise you'd need to be brave just to read this book.

This is our second book from the author, my daughter loves it! Nicely illustrated and children can understand very easily! Love it!

No substance to this book. Not reassuring in the way you'd expect.

Like the rest of the collection, it's an amazing book ! Kids love it and want to read it again and again.
