Beard Wash by Percy Nobleman A Natural Highly Organic Soap/Shampoo & Conditioner for Men

I bought two bottles of this on October 21, 2017 (received quickly October 24, 2017) for stocking stuffers, and noticed just now that it was only returnable through some time in November! My boyfriend just removed the wrapping around the bottle to find NO user instructions on the bottle and that it had expired in January 2016 (1 year and 10 months and 2 weeks before I received it!) I bought the second bottle for his son who lives clear across the USA, so have no idea what he discovered and am embarrassed to ask☹️

The label on the bottle says best if used before January 2016. It is now October 2017.That is almost 2 years ago. Beware if buying. You might get an old bottle like I did. It has not made my beard feel any different than before. Will not buy again.

My husband says this works well. But the expiration date says the product expired in June 2016; I bought it in December 2017. I don’t think the beard wash really needs an expiration date, but odd that they don’t sell the product within the expiration date.

Has a nice smell and use it once a day in the shower. Helps do a good job at cleaning up my beard and so far ive noticed that although in the shower my beard feels rough. after drying my beard tends to feel much softer and nicer then it did before using this product.

Great beard wash. Has a bit of an earthy smell but, keeps the beard very manageable.

My girlfriend bought me a sampler pack a few months back, and this wash is exceptional! Always leaves my beard full and she loves the scent.... Always a plus!

Overall it's is a decent product but, it really wasn't what I was looking for. I have a long, thick beard and I usually use Moutaineer Brand.

Works well smells bad

I've never bought beard wash before, but i've been recommended to not use normal shampoo/conditioner on my beard as it strips away all the healthy oils. So I was in the market for beard wash and wanted to play it safe for my first purchase. Although I found cheaper products, they have stuff in them which strips away the oils in your beard and leave your skin feeling dry.Anyway, I received this in the post yesterday and used it on the same day. My impression are:- Higher priced branded product for small (100ml) bottle. HOWEVER, you shouldn't be using this more than twice a week anyway, so it should last a while.- Applies to the beard easily. After washing out, I could feel an immediate difference in my beard (softer, flatter, smoother).- Natural ingredients which don't dry out your beard.- Scent is cedarwood and lime. Not massively concerned with this, as I use beard oil which overwhelms it. For those who don't, it will probably smell nice by itself.The only reason I knocked a star off of this is because of the price. For less money you can get bigger bottles which use same-ish ingredients. For someone who is unsure where to start, or is buying this as a gift, you won't go wrong buying this. But you are paying a premium for the brand (which is apparently well-known!)

Great product! I only use natural high quality beard wash and I forgot to get beard shampoo and was using normal hair shampoo for a couple of weeks, so inevitably developed beard itch. This wash cleared it up in two washes. I read one review saying it smelt bad, that is quite simply not true, its a natural high quality product and they do not smell like cheap scented products. It was that comment alone that gave me confidence to buy it! So glad i did, it will be a regular of mine now. Only need a small amount. But anyone who appreciates natural & quality products, you will love this!

Being new to growing a beard I had no idea these products existed. Three weeks in and after beginning to itch I looked online and discovered a whole new world. I popped to Boots and picked up a few bits and pieces, then a friend recommended Percy Noblemans. These products have been a real revelation.I was concerned the first time I used the beard wash, put a couple of blobs of shampoo in my palms whist in the shower and ran it through my beard, as I was working it in I was surprised there was no lather, it worked in really well and smelled nice, just a normal pleasant smell, slightly stronger than your usual soap or shower gel. It's best to work into the beard and then leave in for three or four minutes for it to work its magic, then rinse.One towelled dry you can feel immediately the benefits of the wash, your beard feels clean and soft. This is much better than the products I picked up from Boots.One other thing to bear in mind, the guys at Percy Nobleman provide first class customer service. I emailed them asking for some advice and also asking why the beard wash didn't lather up and they replied immediately with some great advice and telling me that the beard wash contains 100% organic ingredients which meant it wouldn't foam, but it wasn't the foam which cleans the beard, so no loss there.My beard routine now consists of Percy Nobleman beard wash, Percy Nobleman beard oil then their beard balm. All really excellent products which compliment each other perfectly. Within a few days of using my beard is 100% softer, better conditioned and for the first time I feel in complete control.Cannot recommend all of their products enough. A+++

Both the oils and the wash are brilliant. Lovely packaging, clear instructions for use and a beautiful, woody fragrance. Only need to use a very little (I use 2 pumps for the beard wash and 1 for the beard oil) to cover my entire beard and skin underneath. Face feels moisturized and soft almost immediately after washing and oiling.Highly recommended

I purchased this on other people’s reviews and am afraid to say I won’t be buying it again.It’s quite expensive which isn’t an issue if it’s good, the PN beard balm I’m quite pleased with, so had high hopes for this.You don’t get a great deal of product but it’s enough I guess, it doesn’t smell very nice and has an oily texture. It barely lathers up at all and leaves my beard and hands feeling quite greasy and. sticky.I’ve tried using small amounts and larger amounts but it’s generally not very nice.Shame, as it’s not a cheap product, however I won’t be rushing back for this one. Alternatively I’ve just taken a punt on some much cheaper L’Oréal beard wash and it’s leagues better than this. Lathers up nice, smells better and you barely need to use any of it for it to go a long way. Soft beard and no oily mess.Some PN products are good and well worth the money, this one wasn’t for me I’m afraid.
