WOW just WOW!! 😌
WOW!!! That’s all I want to say! I washed it quick out of the box and assembled in just a few seconds and went right out and picked some cherries to try it!!! Needlessly to say it was effortless and I am so glad I bought this one and not the $200 one I saw. It will process both my trees about 10,000 cherries a year with ease! It hasn’t seemed to miss even once! Great purchase! 🙏😌

Works well
Works well! Fast processing of our 30 pounds of cherries. Easy to spot and correct it if a pit doesn't kick out but usually it does on the first try. I feed them in one at a time to help keep things flowing.

Good product, directions not in English!
The one I received had instructions only in German! Very surprised there was NOTHING in English. I was able to assemble after studying the pictures. This pitter works much better than pitting by hand! Every so often, a pit is missed, but all in all, it does a good job.

Fast and easy to use
Works wonderfully. My son had 6 pounds of cherries done in about 20 minutes. Very quick and easy to use. Easy to take apart and clean.

Hanging chads, mangled cherries, spray everywhere
So I purchased this as our tart cherry tree was producing magnificently and a reviewer mentioned it was good for tart cherries. We have pitted about 5 large colanders of cherries so far. I would have to estimate that the device successfully pits about 1 in 10 cherries, if you are lucky. The rest all have the pit hanging off the remains of the cherry. By remains, another problem is that the extractor often mangles the cherries so much that bits of cherry builds up in the hole the cherry sits in and hampers use and must be cleaned out. Also do not expect to load up the hopper and that they will just roll into place as each is pitted. More often than not the cherries would congregate wedging themselves at the entrance of the chute and not allow any cherry to roll into the hole for pitting. In addition, be sure to do this outside, wear clothing you do not mind being splattered, and I recommend that you sit the device into a store grocery bag with the front spout over a low bowl and after putting the cherries into the hopper, pull the bag up and over the hopper and push handle. This helped contain the spatter, which was prolific. So after setting up the device inside a bag, wearing latex gloves, I would put about 10 cherries at a time in the hopper and process them. Then I would take the processed cherries and manually remove the hanging pit. This is how I estimate that it successfully pits about 1 in 10, though often none. This method was faster, albeit much messier, than the chopstick to a single cherry at a time method my husband used.Be aware that this device creates a lot of juice given how it mangles the flesh so drain it off into your cherry bowl and use it to make a cherry syrup.

Great product but arrived damaged!
The engineering is fabulous, but the pit receptacle was broken and cracked in several places. I needed immediately, so we glued it back together and got to work.

Easy, great thing to have if you are putting cherries !
The media could not be loaded. There is instructions to put this together, it was not hard. It’s such a life saving time for pitting cherries. Quickly , I pitted 2 bowls of cherries.
