Have to say as a licensed cosmetologists I love this product. I have tried many different polygel builders and so far this one is my favorite. Yes it does take a little bit to get used to how it works. I have a big uv set up for my nails one like you see in the salons. I cure each nail for 30 seconds till I’m done with that hand then cure for 120 seconds. It is still sticky but it’s supposed to be that way so you can just put gel polish on top. I usually have to shape them a little after. I use rubbing alcohol to get the sticky, tacky part off then can do my nails normal.I don’t like the brunch that comes with it though. It separates when I try to use it! It combine t yes but I would recommend using a different one if you have it. If not tape it together before trying to build your nails or scoop it out.

I bought this product years ago and at this time, it has been a pain to do my nails. So I wanted to test a theory and buy a new, wondering if maybe old one went bad. Not sure if they changed the thickness of this product or not but holy cow was it thick. My old one is runny and easily messy as I was unable to work fast enough to prevent it from flooding my side walls. The new one I just tried yesterday on my nails was shocking. It stayed in place and I had to really push it around to get to cover my whole nail. Definitely need to practice more with it but the thickness saved me an additional 4 hours of doing my nails since I’m a huge perfectionist and will sit there until they look perfect to me. I see negative reviews on this product but honestly, I’d recommend it. I think hard gels in general are difficult to work with and I bought a high end brand and even that was difficult to work with. It’s all about practice. So don’t get discouraged with this product. Just keep practicing and eventually you’ll get better with it. And yes, it stays in my nails forever, mild chipping and hardens nicely. Give it a chance guys.

This product isn’t working for me. When I first received it, I used it with my regular fold up led lamp that I use on a regular basis for both color and hard gel curing purposes. I applied an even coat, and tried curing it for 30 seconds, which usually hardens the product I apply to the nails somewhat, like at least 60-70% after which I just put it under for another round of 30 seconds. Not for this one. I tried curing it a grand total of 6 times (3 Minutes total !!3!!) only to see it is still extremely tacky and gloopy. I thought that maybe it was the slip layer that’s still tacky, and when I went to wipe it off it literally slid off like nothing.So I gave up and used another hard gel for that set.I came back to this later to try it out with the big guns, my 48 watt led lamp. Mind you- a 36 watt lamp should be more than sufficient to cure any uv/led nail resins, but a 48 watt lamp is just faster at curing in less time so you’re not exposed to more uv light than you need. EVEN AFTER the recommended 1-3 minute recommendation on the jar, the gel still doesn’t cure, remaining soft and pliable. I stirred up the jar just to see if maybe anything settled or separated, but same result.I don’t feel comfortable at all using this product. Guys, PSA!!! Your gel should always be fully cured to prevent the risk of developing contact dermatitis and/or other skin conditions!! Always use a strong uv lamp for at least a minute to make sure your color/builder gel is cured fully and properly! Don’t rush it to risk it.

I couldn’t get this to cure shiny unless I cured it for at least 6 minutes, and even then it’s not as shiny as gels I have that cure in 1 minute (inhype and light elegance). If I cure for less than 6 min it will be matte when I wipe the inhibition layer. For reference I’m using the Light Elegance LED mini dot, which is a good quality lamp. Perhaps this gel just cures at a different wavelength or something.I bought it to do 3D art which I don’t want to topcoat, so it won’t work for that, but it was cheap so I’ll probably keep it for when I’m doing 3D designs that I want to topcoat. I am concerned that it’s not fully cured in 1-2 min given that it is possible to get this to a shine but only if I cure for a long time, so I probably won’t use it for full overlays.

A little bit difficult to use and extremely sticky, but gets the job done and is able to give you nice and strong, fake nails.

The best results are using plastic nail shapers instead of paper. Order more when you run out, the paper shapers aren't that great with this product, in my opinion. The brush that comes with it is a nice gesture, but not sturdy at all. As far as the actual gel, I actually liked this product. I have no complaints about it. The gel is very thick and the nails are very sturdy. I do my nails and get a fill about every two or three weeks. It's lasted me almost a year. I'm not sure that I want to repurchase this particular one again right away, but it's a good recommendation. And if after trying others, I don't find anything better... "I'll Be Bhak" 😜🩷
