These placements are very pretty and well made. I bought them in the teal color. They are backed with cotton which does not scratch the table and they are heavy enough to put dishes of hot food on them.

These are so beautiful and feel really good and heavy. However, I bought 2 packs of 4. And 2 of them had long pins come out within minutes and now have loose beads on them both. Amazon said they can’t contact the seller and I’m struggling to get in contact about it. So the service is poor. But they’re really pretty.

Nice Mats, they look good, but, they are a bit flimsy and very difficult to keep clean. Ok for dinner parties, but, would hesitate at using them on a daily basis, if they get dirty, they are a nightmare to clean.
