SpydercoManix 2 Folder 3.38 in Plain Black FRN Handle

I purchased this knife in OctNov 2023. This is my first Spyderco and think it was a good first choice. I was not sure if I wanted this larger size knife for everyday use. However, it is lightweight and feels substantial in the hand.I have found the CTS BD1N blade steel to be both fairly easy to sharpen at 20 deg but hold the edge decently. The knife is roughly 12 cm long closed and about 20.5 cm long open.

The media could not be loaded. This is my first high end knives I purchased this bc I got tired of replacing a knife every month. I carried around a Kershaw blur before this and the tip snapped off after a year of excessive hard use. My first impression was it felt cheap and light. Now I wouldn't hesitate to use it in almost any situation cts bd1n seems pretty darn good to me I've heard bad about it though all in all I love this knife and will be looking into other spyderco knives in the future

I was hesitant at first to purchase this knife because I was unsure of the handle material and if I would like it. Come to find out after I purchased it, It is without a doubt my new favorite handle material. The knife came razor sharp and you could legit shave with it. The handle material is grippy but not too grippy to wear it hurts or burns your hands during use. The action is snappy. You can easily do the Spidey flip. The wire pocket clip is way stronger than you would think. I've snagged it multiple times and have not been out enough to make a difference in my pocket. I'm getting ready to buy the version with magna cut steel. Every true knife enthusiast should try this.

Heard alot of great things about this knife so thought I'd finally pull trigger. It's a great design, amazingly light weight and ergos are good. But my action on this one is rough. Extremely tight all around. Couldn't even use spydy hole to flick open. Messed with pivot and got it a little better but still not great. Hopefully with time it will break in a bit. It's OK but I have a lot of other knives half this price that perform much better

Amazing knife. Perfect edc blade. Extremely light, thin razor sharp blade with the upgraded bd1n steel, and the size is perfect for me. Just a little larger than my tenacious which I like. I think I finally found the all around best knife and can put my knife addiction behind me now.

Action is stiff and catchy in spots upon closing. The lock mechanism is hard to use,stiff spring I guess. Blade steel is exceptional.

This is my favorite knife of all time, the blade steel is great Spyderco does a great heat treat and this knife has a fantastic action
