The media could not be loaded.    I like the idea of this plate relocation kit.I wish it was executed a bit better though. My main issue was that the holder can be twisted loose without any tools.I added some anti-seize / loctite to the threads, and hopefully that will make it hold. There isn't a packet of anti-seize included. There seemed to be a little applied to the bolt connecting the plate holder to the tow hook adapter, but it seemed kinda dried out and old. I ended up replacing it with a new application. The tow hook adapter itself did not have any anti-seize pre-applied.Oh, and be warned, if you want to use a license plate frame, make sure the screw holes are not too large. This is more of an issue with the frame I bought and not this plate holder, but I figure I'd throw it in there just in case you already own something that has large holes in the frame cause these screws are small. I guess I could have used a washer to hold the frame, but I think that would defeat the look I was going for.For now, I'm going frame-less.

I like this a lot, however I would have hoped not to have to replace it. The rod is high quality and still looks like it will last. The bracket that holds the plate onto the plate holder (and the plate holder itself) only lasted 3½ years. I don't need to replace the rod, just the bracket and the plate holder. I would give this product a full 5 stars all the way up until the time it broke off. Now maybe just 3 stars, but since I like the fit and finish of this product over others, it gets 4 stars from me. Just not ready to drop another $80 on the product.

First off i want to say that i just finished installing this product, and it looks great! It was exactly what i wanted.i only had 2 issues with this kit(which is why its 4 and not 5 stars).First Issue, the kit says it should come with 11 bolts in total, mine only had 10. if the missing bolt had been one of the ones for mounting the plate to the holder that would have been fine, because they included 2 sets of 4 mounting bolts for that. The bolt that was missing was the one that attaches the U-bracket to the tow hook bolt. Kinda important bolt.Second Issue, the directions say 2 different sizes for the bolt in question. the list in package says one size, and the directions say another. Which made getting a replacement from the hardware store a bit more of a pain.Other than those 2 things i am very happy with this purchase!

It holds solid and looks good. Definitely a tight fit with both spacers on a 2018 WRX STI. You may want to pick up a longer screw and an additional spacer if you don't like it touching your car.Edit 1: Looked much closer, and it is a tight fit, but not actually rubbing on the car. So far the plate has stayed solid through multiple trips, and couple machine car wash runs.

Quality product and very very easy to install. Price is a little steep but well worth it.I bought this for my 2017 WRX STI because I did not want to drill holes. I also used longer hardware so I could put a frame and clear faceplate on the front.

Very good product, but it seems like it could move around very easily if you were to touch it, or even the bumps from the road. I messed around and it seems solid though. Time will tell how long it will take to MAYBE have that happen.Overall, this was super easy to install.REMEMBER: Grease up that big bolt that goes into your front tow area. It will be a pain to remove or insert it otherwise.

Had no issues with install, and it looks great. I don't think kody people realize the oval silver piece swivels a good bit to keep plate off front of carI have a 2018 wrx and it worked perfect with no extra parts needed

It will work on 2018 Crosstrek.. but u will need longer screw and more spacersIt looks good
