Holds tight
I have tried many different types of glue for my styrofoam projects and this one is far more superior than the others I have tried.

Not much different from Elmer's glue
I bought this to glue some broken Styrofoam pieces found on a low lying fog machine. I did a search on Amazon for glue that is meant to work well with Styrofoam. While using it, I realized it's basically an Elmer's type of glue. The glue works well, but I probably would have had the same success using the Elmer's glue I already had in my house.

Foam safe glue
It holds the Foam pretty well but the glue is a little brittle not very flexible.

Strong bond
Very strong bond. When cured, the area sealed is stronger than the foam so the foam will break before the area sealed.

HOLD the FOAM (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
This stuff isn't even as good as the regular Elmer's School glue or generic glue you can get in the box stores for very cheap! And this stuff is very expensive for the ounces you are paying for!As a modeler, I am always looking for glues! You really need to find a glue for a particular purpose! Most glues don't work well on all surfaces or types of materials! As I build RC airplanes made of foam, I wanted something that would be safe--some glues can literally eat or melt foam in a heartbeat, particularly the regular CA (super glue)! Some glues turn different colors or don't blend well with what you are using them for! This glue gets a few things right--the color goes on kind of yellowish but dries pretty clear! But takes way too long to dry, and there is basically no tack to hold things together while drying! And then...well, after it cures, it doesn't hold anything together worth a crap!It can then peel off like the skim on milk! Hmmm. Just wasted an hour, or three! Now I have to re-do the whole thing with another glue that will actually hold! I guess if you want a really-low tack, easily-removable glue this might just work for you! After trying the stuff on a few different things with similarly poor success, I stuck the tube in my hardware drawer! A month later, I picked it up, wondering if I should just throw it out or if I could find something to try it out on again later...I noticed the label was peeling up on the sides! So, as I am a curious person, I pried it up even more! Guess what? under the blue label is a yellow tube that says "Kids Choice Glue!" (!) Hmmm, again.Maybe 'Kids Choice' is good for IT'S intended purpose--being non-toxic for children who like to eat it?--but it ain't MY choice for HOLDING FOAM together! (Really, I don't think a kid would choose it for anything either).Hmmm...I wonder if they used their own glue to hold this label on? It actually holds better than this stuff does!Hold the Foam (!)....NOT!!!!!!

Excellent product.
I did a bit of research before purchasing this product. I was very pleased over all. It performed extremely well. It's cost effective. Cleans up easily. The only draw back is there wasn't enough information on how to apply it. The research I'd done prior to purchase said to apply it with a brush. Which would work for small areas but not so much if you want to cover a larger area. This product is very thick and doesn't spread very well. It took a few tries before I got the hang of it. But once I did it worked great.

Seems to work quite well!
I used this to glue open cell polyurethane foam to craft foam and the bond appears to be quite strong, though I'm not certain how durable it will be yet as the glue only just cured - but applying a little force to the glued seam gives me the impression that the open cell foam would tear before the glue itself let go. It does dry "clear", but reminds me of standard PVA glue in that it leaves an obvious, opaque glue dollop on the surface - easy to deal with though, just apply it sparingly so there isn't as much oozing out from the joint. I used a cheap paintbrush for this purpose and the brush washed clean easily and quickly with water and did not damage the brush. I should also note that this is not just PVA glue in a different branded package. I've used standard, white PVA glue on these types of foam before and it was nowhere near as strong and took several hours to dry - in contrast this glue dried within an hour. Standard PVA glue also saturated the open cell foam leaving it very stiff and unpliable. This glue remained on the surface of the open cell foam without penetrating it too deeply. Thus the surface became somewhat stiff, though not as stiff as standard PVA glue, but left the foam soft and mouldable throughout. Also, in response to a previous reviewer - on my tube of glue there was no hidden label underneath the one shown in the picture revealing a "Kids Choice Glue". Perhaps this buyers glue came from a different supplier.

so i guess it is a good quality glue
I don't really know how to review a glue...I had broken Styrofoam and it glued the pieces together. The item is still in one piece since i repaired.so i guess it is a good quality glue.

Really strange
Purchased 2 of these, both bottles look completely different and when we opened the packaging on one it exploded all over my partners hand, really not happy with this.

The best styrofoam adhesives are solvent-based for a reason
I've never in my lifetime of 36 years been compelled to send back a tube of glue, such is the misery I experienced using this extraordinarily disappointing and unfit-for-purpose adhesive.Supposedly for styrofoam, but turns out to be water-based! It takes so long to dry, and often it never dries fully because the water vapours cannot escape from a sealed joint, so the glue just stays tacky/sometimes liquid, even days after gluing a joint. Even when I did manage to get a joint that seemed stuck, it started pulling apart with only a touch of force. The best styrofoam adhesives are solvent-based for a reason, because they chemically WELD the two faces of the joint, and the joint ends up being stronger than the foam itself. This stuff doesn't even come close. Sorry Beacon - EPIC FAIL on this one. DO NOT BUY IF YOU WANT TO STICK STYROFOAM TOGETHER.
