This is a high quality mandoline that is very easy to use and clean. Do use the safety accessories (food holder, cut resistant gloves), or this $42 mandoline will cost you $500 after a trip to urgent care for stitches. I still give the product 5 stars. I give myself a 0.

Very sharp well made should last a long time with care. Made of metal very sturdy would recommend to family and friends. They could test drive mine before they purchase one.

The blade is very sharp, it cuts easily, and it is easy to clean in the dishwasher. My only complaint (if you can call it that) is that the little plastic storage guard for the blade is super easy to lose.

Very good quality, slices tomatoes, potatoes, cucumbers, and onions very thin.

Product is well made, easy to clean, and sharp as a tack. Made easy work of an onion to make thin, uniform slices for parmesan oven baked "onion rings." Highly recommend.

The knob for adjusting the depth of slice is a too loose, so over the course of slicing something, it will begin to edge towards a thicker cut. You have to keep an eye on it and readjust periodically if maintaining a consistent thickness matters to you (which it probably does if you are using a mandoline). Otherwise, I thought it got the job done well enough.

This mandoline is very nice. It is sturdy and easy to use. The unit is wide which I like because I want it to slice eggplant for eggplant rolatini. The instructions on it are not great. It gives no instruction on how to switch the button to get the different cutting blades. It took us a while to figure out how to use it. You have to push in the outer ring on the knob to be able to turn to the different blades. I have not used it yet because I made rollatini last week. I am going to try slicing a cucumber. It's best test for me is slicing the eggplant because being spongy they are hard to cut into thin slices. If I use it and have more commentary I will update this review. If there is not an update because it works great assume it worked fantastic.
