Absolutely brilliant step by step guide to drawing fun animals with an added bonus of activity sheets. My 7 year old son loves it!

A birthday present for one of my friends kids (6) who loves to draw. They got stuck right in!

Excellent, really pleased. Bought for a bargain price. Update after Xmas - on the strange in between days after Xmas we sat as a family and followed the step by steps! My son found this really easy to follow & me and his dad had a laugh at creating our characters and judging which came out the best. Really lovely book and it’s led my son to want to read the actual stories that the characters are from as he thought they were so adorable. Some of the techniques will stick with us and be our go to technique for drawing birds, bears etc Just brilliant!

The Draw With Rob videos on Youtube were like a ray of light during lock-down. So as soon as I found out there was going to be a book I pre-ordered it for my 4 and 7-year old.The book doesn't disappoint*, it has step-by-step instructions for some of the drawings from the videos (Gregosaurus, Nancy, Penguin Blue, Teddy, Fred Bear, Eugene the Owl, Sausage Dog, Zorg, Kevin, Self portrait) but there are also activities and colouring in and lots of opportunities for my children to express themselves creatively. They have both loved the books.* - Initially on opening the books I did expect there to be more of the how to drawings from the videos. But having sat with my children, they love the book, I think this format works better - so don't be disappointed. They have already done the drawings from the videos and being able to take what they have learnt and expand on it is brilliant.For example, the instructions for Fred Bear are there and then on the next double page there are six different bear shapes to fill in. I love the Kevin the Imaginary Friend bit, you draw Kevin, then there's a double colouring page of different imaginary friends and then there's a build your own imaginary friend page with example heads, bodies, arms, eyes etc. My little boy absolutely loved this.The pages are perforated so you can remove them from the book if you want to and have your drawings on the wall or fridge, and at 64 pages it's bigger than the usual activity books. I think it's really good value for money. I am so pleased to see that there are two more books coming out - Draw With Rob at Christmas (October 2020) and Draw with Rob #3 (current title on Amazon) (March 2021).Overall - My kids absolutely loved this book and I am tempted to get a copy for myself because it looks like great fun.

My little boy loves Robs books & despite him being 3/4 we religiously watched draw with rob throughout lock down. I found it really handy having a child who is forever asking me to draw things like dinosaurs & superhero’s. I bought this for my nephew who’s 9 as this is right up his street for Xmas & somehow found myself doodling in it. There’s loads to do, my little boy is enjoying the activities & familiar characters from his story books & I’ve pretty much nailed my gregosaurus. The pages are heavy duty for heavy hands & they are all perforated so you can easily take out the pics you’d like to frame or put on the fridge. I’m now repurchasing replace the one we/I stole. Everyone should go & watch robs YouTube channel If you haven’t already as there are loads more drawing videos to follow along too. I’d recommend it to anyone with children during these long days of boredom in lockdown 2.0

Firstly, Rob was one of the heroes from UK Lockdown. He helped my son get more into drawing , at the time he was under 5 and it really helped his drawing abilitiesThe book is really well made, its packed with fun stuff and the pages that you can tear out and frame is a genius ideaThe only reason I took a star off is because all the drawings are on youtube, my son had already done them all and therefore it just took the shine off it a bit for me - I think if it had been all new stuff with some of the old drawings it would have been amazing

My kids have LOVED Draw with Rob throughout Lockdown so this was an obvious choice of summer activity book. Lots to do, and it was a big hit with all 3 of my kids (4, 7 & 9). Only criticism is that all the pages are perforated which meant they fell out quite quickly and so were found scattered around the place. I would have rather that just the artist picture pages were perforated and the activity pages were fixed in to prevent this issue. But, overall very happy as the kids had hours of entertainment and a show of our appreciation for his entertainment during a Lockdown.

My son loved the Draw with Rob you tube videos so I brought this and the Monster one. It the best activity book I've ever brought for his really lovely quality lots of different activities and lots of fun things to draw and I love the fact you can tear out the drawing so we can put them on the fridge etc. Brilliant buy.
