Sleek case and worked very nicely for what I needed it for
My thoughts: Item looks like images posted and fits sellers description. I purchased this to do a systems backup for my new laptop. It works great. The casing is sleek and looks high end. It fit perfectly and functioned well. It is small and easy to store. I like the sliding cap design very much. It helps protect it very well. Mine worked great and I didn't find it that slow. The whole backup was done pretty fast, of course I didn't time it, but It didn't take very long. I personally am very pleased with it and found fr what I needed it fr it worked great! That is all I will be using it for too though.Stated by seller: Compliant - with USB 3.0 specificationsDual Compatibility - USB 3.0 connectivity; backward compatible to USB 2.0Stylish - black-on-black, sliding cap designIdeal USB 3.0 starter storage deviceGuaranteed - five-year warranty, free technical supportProduct DescriptionKingston 32GB USB 3.0 DataTraveler 100 G3From the ManufacturerKingston's Data Traveler 100 G3 (DT100G3) USB Flash drive is compliant with next-generation USB 3.0 specifications to take advantage of technology in newer notebooks, desktop PCs and digital devices. Gotta pull back the cover to insert the tip
Does exactly what you expect it to do. Just pull back the cover, insert the tip into the slot, and it’s fast, but steady. Feels a bit cheap and flimsy, especially noticeable when sliding back the cover, as it is made completely of plastic; but for this price point, you really can’t complain about that. Another quirk that I noticed is, you need to pull back the cover all the way (until you feel a slight click), or else the tip doesn’t go all the way in , and your computer will not be satisfied and will not read the stick.I purchased it more for the function. Needed a 64gb stick for work and it deployed an image out to over 3,000 laptops, no issues. Literally, in & out, in & out, until I finished.

Large Storage, Good Value, Slow write speed
I like the large storage and good value. The only thing I don't like is the slow write speed at around 22mb/second. The USB drive would copy a dozen file, then stop, then copy a dozen files again, and repeat. The speed is not consistent, and I don't feel that this 3.0 USB drive is significantly faster than a 2.0 USB, (and I have a Microsoft Surface 4 Pro with 3.0 USB port). I have attached a screenshot of the speed to this review. I only use this USB drive to backup the files from my computer once a year, so this doesn't bother me as much as someone who may need to use it everyday. But it does take a long time to backup files, and I thought the 3.0 USB should be faster. But I can live with it, for now.

A cheap 3.0 usb thumb drive
I got this guy as a back up to a must more expensive Kingston I got a while ago ( yes i have like 4 thumb drives/ dropbox/ google drive all to back up work and school research/ etc) This unit works great for most user, the only knock on the unit is not that important but needs to be said, its read and write speeds are slower then the more expensive Kingston thumb drives. However again most people will be ok with the slower drive as long as its not used for something like a media server stick ie play movies in HD off of. in saying that i really have not had a problem with speed for any of my uses including as a media stick.Pros: Price, name brand, would buy againCons: read/write speeds ( not a problem for most users)
