Great for prevention of wax moth infestation during storage

This item will work but evaporate fast. Needs to be refilled.

This is more expensive than mothballs, but its convenient that its granular rather than larger balls. You use such a small amount each time that it will last a while.

I ave quite a bit of stored frames (used to have a dozen hives now down to one) and I've been using this to keep them wax moth free for a couple of years now. Works great.

Product is probably fine but promised delivery dates were missed. My experience with Mann Lake is that they are much slower to ship products than others - though they have good quality products. I ordered to same para moth compound from another supplier who delivered as promised and returned the Mann Lake para moth compound when it finally arrived.

If you are using this product, you should already know the dangers of the carcinogenic vapors. The product works great. My warning is that the container they use is extremely cheap and flimsy plastic. So when you open your mailed package, I suggest you already have your gas mask on. And if you plan on long term storage, you better have your own air-tight sealable container to transfer the product. You do NOT want to store the chemical in the container they used. Very unsafe and inadequate.
