Fun for my 5 boys!
I like new activities and toys for the pool. The boys (ages 11 to 13) had a great time making up new games like timing each other for fastest scoop time, racing to get the most sea creatures and even playing hide & seek with toys. They said toys were easy to grab with the "seaweed" on the top and they liked the lights. This is a very recent purchase so I am not sure about durability yet. But in this brutal Arizona summer sun & heat, we are used to things not lasting as long. But boys sure have had a lot of fun so far!

I used once and the batteries rusted.
I bought these to take on a family trip for my grandkids. They do not come with instructions but they do come with a little plastic tool to open the battery compartment.Well, maybe I should have used the tool to tighten the compartment, may not, who knows…there were no instructions. They were all individually wrapped and looked brand new. So, I unwrapped them and tossed them in the pool. When the kids were done, a couple wouldn’t turn off, so I loosened the battery department. The next day a few would not light up. I loosened the battery department and they were rusted inside. Even with one night of water I wouldn’t suspect that they would rust that fast. They are still cute little creatures, but some don’t work and I suspect the rest won’t last our 4 day trip. The kids do have some little light up torpedo dive toys and some torpedos that don’t light up that they like better.I feel like these were pretty much a waste of money. Oh, well! We are having fun so no big deal.

Buy them because they’re cute, not for the lights
As others mentioned, the battery compartments are not water tight. My daughter brought toys to me because they were still flashing hours after being out of the pool. Some had an off switch, but others didn’t. As soon as I opened the battery door, orange water poured out. Bummer, but not a deal breaker.I purchased these because they looked adorable and easy to grasp from the bottom of the pool. In all honesty, I’d still have paid the same price without the light-up function. They were a definite hit, and even cuter in real life. My daughter is disappointed about the lights, but A) they don’t show much during the day, and B) she doesn’t get to swim in the dark.

Great pool dive toy!
I've got a bunch of dive toys for the granddaughters, but this style is by far the best. Even the little one can swim down far enough to 'get it' from the bottom. The 'wavy' seaweed top makes it easy for them to grab. We've only swam at night a couple of times, but the light really works and they think it's a real hoot watching them sink to the bottom with the glowing light. Great 'fun-factor' for the money!

Fun at first but catch them on a deal
Enjoyed them for about to2 swim sessions. Than some wouldn't shut off anymore. Battery seals weren't that great. Out of the 6 only 2 still work right

Keep diving
So much fun. Not sure how to turn it, or maybe it's just super tight and I wasn't able to turn the bottom. Either way it was fun. I went diving for it with the kids and even raced to see who got to it first. Lost of fun and great way to workout the body

Nice idea, if it wasn’t flawed.
I was so excited to find these for my kids! Night swimming is the best with fun things to dive for! Nothing better than if they light up!!! This is my second set of these dive sticks. The 1st set they just didn’t light up. 2 were complete duds, even after I added new batteries. The second set one came with the bottom not “evenly screwed on” I went to unscrew it to see if I could realign it but it’s completely broken off inside. The idea is awesome but the product is not quality. :( so sad.

They have to be in water for the lights to work
I thought something was wrong with them cause I couldn’t get the lights on, but once they got in the water the lights turned on. They should say this on the package! A lot of the lights up toys I bought didn’t light up until they got in the water.
