I realize this is soap so I will keep this in mind for the review without writing a novel! This soap is absolutely amazing for beards. Before purchasing, I was extremely skeptical as I have tried different soaps and could never find a perfect one for my beard. In fact, the closest I could find was Sophisticated Beardsman, which by the way is actually good. But even with that brand, my beard was just a little out of control, still somewhat dried out. So I risked the purchase and after using this soap for a couple of weeks, this is the perfect beard soap. There is a dramatic difference in the control, look, and feel of beard. I prefer a natural beard without adding beard oil, etc. The Bogue soap is perfectly blended. This soap has natural oils resulting in a simply perfect beard - no additional beard oil needed! My beard has seven months of growth and I have no plans to shorten it anytime soon. Initially I was also concerned about the size of soap vs. price. It is a 3oz. bar for $6.00. I thought this was too high but the bar isn't even close to being used up, so at this point it is worth the money. To whoever blended it, thank you. After quite a few tries purchasing different brands, I found it. Don't worry about the smell; the bar has a distinct scent but is no concern after a shower. Finally, they give you a surprise of a few free samples of different soaps in gratitude for your order. Again, thank you very much.I will not add comments with each purchase but after multiple uses, if anyone is searching for a perfect beard soap, this is it. No beard oil needed as this soap is a perfect blend to keep beards looking good and natural. Too many compliments to write about. This is the best beard soap on the market and the company has great customer service. Thank you.

This is a great beard soap, I like Bogue Milk Soap equally as much as I like Grandpa's Pine Tar soap for my beard. Bogue's milk soap had a a nice scent and softened my beard nicely. I plan on purchasing it again in the future.

Lathers beard smelling fresh and silky

cleans beard of dirt&grim and oil..little drying so I follow with conditioner..leaves reido in hair..that straw feeling in hair while wet...smell is just ok...

Feels amazing, smells great, reduces itchiness instantly, moisturizes and tames your beard, leaves it feeling very fresh and clean. I was drawn to Bogue's products because of the ingredients - no harsh chemicals/no sulfates or silicones, just essential oil and milk. Now I love washing my beard - I use this soap about 1 - 2 times per week and just rinse on the other days. Also makes a great prep for beard oil. No skin issues from this soap whatsoever - it's very soothing.

Really nice soap. Gets me beard and face clean without striping my beard. My beard hair is soft and smells nice.

Long lasting bar. Some days I feel like all I need is this bar of soap! This leaves my beard clean, and my skin underneath is not dry or itchy at all. In the long run this bar of soap will also save you money on the amount of oils and balms you'll need to buy! Then the samples, THE SAMPLES(I just wish they would tell us what the samples were for). This company cares about their customers.
