It's a simi hard case but very nice. Great price and quick delivery. It also comes with a lanyard clipon and heavy rubber band, I guess the band is for hanging the case on your wrist.Very happy, my old Garmin screen got scratched up being dumped in the box between the seats. and the cord was always in a jumble with cell phone cords.
