This is a case where the person is too close to the situation to have any good ideas. Many of us outside of the college system see a whole set of problems not addressed in this book (at all). College today seems too much about the faculty and the administrators and not the students--this book does not get that issue at all.

I bought the Kindle version to read Chapter 4, and the content was very instructive. Must read for anyone involved in higher ed academic administration, finance, IT, or analytics.I recommended the book to several colleagues, and a couple of them got the paper copy. Great to be anchored with them in the same knowledge authored by a progressive, faculty friendly domain expert (Massy).

The best explanation of the value of traditional higher education I've read. Also, the clearest guide to preserving this unique American treasure in circulation.
