Best Investment of $450-$500 You Can Make On Your Wellbeing
This is the best long term investment of $450-$500 you can make. So many of us looking at chairs online are looking at ones we want to use everyday and every night. Be it for casual comfort or for supportive productivity. This chair is highly underrated - far BETTER than the overrated and overpriced Steelcase Amia or Leap. Don't let the 3.9 stars on Amazon reviews scare you away from this chair, some people simply are unable to be pleased and are nitpicky. The chair has one of the most comfortable bottom seats of any expensive chair you can look at. One of the problems with most gaming chairs or "ergonomic" office chairs is that the seat is too thin or too firm a material and your bottom will hurt after a short period of time. If you have a bottom that has a lot of pressure points, most other chairs are going to be painful over time. The Eurotech Vera has a thick, generously padded cushion that is not capable of bottoming out. It's not so soft that you sink in, but not so firm that you feel like you are sitting on a cheap school seat. I sleep on soft mattresses so I can't stand "firm" memory foam that feels cheap and hurts pressure points. The Eurotech Vera seat is perfectly medium. The backrest is also terrific. It may look aggressive in the low back, but it's not. It's just right. Whatever engineer designed the angle of the seat rest knew what they were doing because the low back curves in to support your low lumbar back where most people get pain from sitting in chairs. You will not get pain from sitting in this chair unless you try to sit in it like a sack of potatoes. There is more than enough room to sit with your feet crossed under you. The mesh material on the backrest is comfortable and strong. It doesn't rub your skin uncomfortably nor wear down your shirts like cheaper mesh chairs. You can sit in this chair comfortably without clothes if that's something you do. It's a high quality mesh that will last, you can feel it the moment you sit on it. The 4D adjustable armrests have a supportive foam with soft edged contours, your elbows will be fine resting on them and they are quiet. I could not stand the Steelcase arm rests, it felt like hard plastic on the elbow. The move inward and outward as well as by height. The chair also has a lightweight profile and its easy to maneuver. Before this chair, I had bought a Steelcase Amia and Leap. This chair is far superior to those chairs - at near half the price.Buy this chair, it's excellent and it does everything you need it to do.

Excellent chair/horrible packaging
I purchased the Eurotech Vera chair after having tried some of the ergonomic chairs from Steelcase (Leap v2 and Think V1) and Staples (Hyken). I found all those chairs, while providing excellent back and lumbar support, had extremely firm to the point of hard seating cushions that were exceptionally uncomfortable to sit in after about 15-20 minutes. After much searching, I settled on the Eurotech Vera. I previously had a Eurotech (Raynor) chair that lasted in excess of 15 but whose cushions had just flattened out and were no longer comfortable. The Vera is kind of the best of both worlds - a very comfortable mesh back chair with a lumbar curve along with a deeply padded firm seat that is comfortable for extended sitting periods. For me, the seat is a godsend as it does not inflict pain on my upper thighs and tailbone like the Steelcase or Staples chair did. I find I can sit comfortably with a nicely padded seat cushion and very nice back and lumbar support from the mesh back. Now - why the reduction from 5 to 4 stars. Simply put, the packaging on the Vera chair is abysmal. I have never seen a new product packaged so carelessly from the factory. The box itself is a very cheap, thin cardboard that is easily punctured or torn. In my case, the flaps of the box were not properly taped or secured, causing notable gaps and openings in the box. The box was so poorly packaged that the included Allen wrench was clearly poking through one of the flap openings......a bad sign.On opening the box, I was shocked to see that the assembly bolts and washers were just loosely thrown in the box. The little plastic envelope that should have secured the parts was taped to the box with the casters, but it was sealed and contained nothing in it. All the bolts were just scattered loose in the bottom of the box. I ended up missing 1 armchair bolt and the 2 hole washer to secure the chair. I did contact Eurotech Customer Service to report the missing pieces and then advised to email their parts dept. with a list of missing parts they would send out. In the interim I purchased 1 bolt and washers to secure the arm to finish the chair. In closing, the Eurotech Vera is a 5 star chair based on the design and comfort. But the packaging is the absolute worst and resulted in taking a star off for the really careless way the chair and its assembly parts was packaged.

Very Comfortable Chair!
I wanted to wait to give the chair some use before issuing my review. I had noticed in other posts the issue with creaking. I am happy to report my chair is squeak-free after four months of use. It is very comfortable, with great cushioning and back support. I was a bit worried due to the cost of the chair being much less than many other chairs I have used in the past. There have been no quality issues, and the chair has been tremendous. The biggest lesson I have learned from this chair is to be most comfortable actually requires no slouching and to be seated as far back as possible on the seat. I use this chair between 6-9 hours five days a week and have not seen the cushion get crushed or the back support tear. I highly recommend for anyone who needs a great chair and doesn't want to break the bank.
