COBRARM4140V 41cm (16in) Cordless Battery Lawnmower with Rear Roller for a striped lawn, includes a 40v 4Ah Battery and charger

First part of review will be unboxing and assembly, the second will be an update when I have chance to try it out.The mower arrived days sooner than the predicted delivery date, I'd done quite a bit of research into mowers and was surprised by how big Cobra were in garden machinery, that they were also designed in the UK, but had relatively few independent reviews for such a big brand.I was looking for a cordless mower that had a roller for stripes and this model scores highly in having a decent roller, not a small supplementary roller that sits between two wheels like some other brands. Also it does have some weight, helped no doubt by the metal deck which is a plus point. Also the weight should help with lawn stripes. It was easy to assemble and I fully charged the 40V 4AH Cobra battery made by Samsung, so a reliable name involved. I tested to make sure the mower was working before storing it for next year.Two concerns from my assembly inspection, the battery cover on the mower looks rather flimsy, so will need handling carefully and the grass box looks a bit small to me, comparing it with my old 40cm Bosch Rotak corded mower.I will update this review next spring when I've had chance to use the mower.

First battery powered lawnmower I’ve owned. Looks good, battery fits neatly and provides ample power to easily cut both our front and back lawn. Has rear roller that gives the lawns striped finish. Good grass collection capacity and enough cutting heights

A little bit heavier than I thought but plenty of power and easy to assemble.Used it twice and it cuts well and battery lasts better than I suspected.First time using a battery powered mower

Disappointed as our old mower which was very old gave a sharper and even cut. It has not been lowered to no 1 cut as it is still early n the season so maybe it will improve.

No dislikes. Very easy to start cuts the grass beautifully. Nice stripes.easy to manoeuvre.I a, 82 years old.
