Water Buffalo Tuffie No Hide Dog Bones & Dog Chews All Natural, Single Source Protein, Grain Free Treat, Long Lasting Chews (2 Pack, Large-Tuffie)

We purchased a 2 pack. In the first 5 minutes there were shards on the floor. About 30 minutes later I decided to take them both away....these are not safe!! We have 2 adult labs who are accustomed to have raw meat bones and bully sticks. I have never felt it necessary to take any chew treats away from them before.

Lasted 25 minutes before splintering.I have two large dogs. May be better for small dogs.

We got the two pack of large horns today. One of them was ok, but the sides of the other are very thin. So thin, in fact, that an hour after I opened the bag, one of my dogs split the side, and it pinched his lip in the crack. If you have a heavy chewer, I do not recommend these. These are supposed to last longer than an hour!

My dog absolutely loved the Water Buffalo Horns. My sister first noticed the chunks and splinters on her bed,where our Golden Doodle sleeps and chewed the horn. When the dog had been acting like something was stuck in her throat we started looking for reasons. My sister took the broken chips and splinters away, before the dog could swallow them. She showed me and when I went back to read the low star reviews,and even saw the photos,there was no doubt what was happening.

I purchased one of these at a pet store a month or so ago and my Bulldog took it outside the other day and I haven't seen it since. These are great for keeping him entertained for quite a while. When I saw the price, I jumped on it. It was basically buy one get one free.I was really disappointed when these came in and the one side was so thin. My 8 month old Bulldog destroyed this in about 30 minutes.The one I got at the store was substantially thicker on both sides. He played with it all the time.I recommend going to the store and searching for a good one with no thin sides, unlike the one pictured.These are the same brand as the one I got at the store which is why I bought it without question.I was just really disappointed when these came in.Overall they are a great product, just make sure you can choose the ones you want to give to your dog.

Lower quality than the brand I normally buy from my locally owned pet store. Pieces came off in sharp chunks within minutes of my dog chewing it. The pieces that she was able to get at before the bone was taken away from her made her vomit twice in the last two days. If you have a TRUE power chewer I would look for something in person to assure quality for the safety of your dog. It looked thin but I thought it would hold up longer than MINUTES. Both bones have been thrown away before any possible injury occurred to my dog.

These hard horn pieces seemed very durable at first, and my dogs love them. Unfortunately, as shown in the picture, one split into layers and shards, which seems very dangerous for dogs. The other piece is starting to do the same thing.

I've been buying my dogs Buffalo horns from a local store for a while. I decided to get these as they were cheaper. What a horrible mistake.. these horns smelled so bad that I had to throw them away after a few minutes. I get that these horns are coming from a smelly animal I'd say they weren't cleaned as well as they could be. The dogs were about 10 feet away and we were gagging on the smell.If it matters the dogs loved them and we're disappointed when I took the horns away... So we hated them, they loved them.
