The overall quality is solid. The material is of average softness. The waist is snug but not overly tight. I ordered 4 more packs for when these wear out over time (just in case they stop making this style at some point!). I'm 5'4 120lbs and small fits perfectly. Obviously you could go commando. I wrote the above after only one washing. Come to find that after two or three wash and wears, these fit very nicely after all, kinda form to your body somewhat,. And they seem to retain their comfy slight tightness longer than the previous version, which stretched out a bit after a few months or so.
