Disney Princess coloring book with lots and lots of designs – printed both sides of page on non-perforated paper
The media could not be loaded. Attached to this review will be a silent flip-through of the entire coloring book so you can make an informed decision as to whether or not it will work for you.Rather than discuss how this is like or different from the various movie, I will discuss only how I feel about it as an adult coloring book. This is the perfect book for Disney fans who love the princesses. I grew up with the movies on the big screen and have watched them on television with both my children and grandchildren. It is wonderful to have the experience of an adult coloring book filled with iconic images that are so familiar. While the book has a few issues (which I will detail below), I am still very pleased with it overall and look forward to more from Disney in the future. There are many heroines in the book and I was able to find my favorites in a number off designs. The book has a nice heavyweight cardboard cover (front and back) which makes for a great solid surface to color on. The designs are printed on both sides of the page and the paper is not perforated. The binding is sewn rather than glued, so removing it takes only a few snips with a small scissor on a few pages. There are 25 designs which span across 2 pages. All but 1 of these are wallpaper designs of repeating images or mirror imagine mandala-type designs. Only 1 is a large image and that one is in the center of the book and can be removed whole or worked as the imagine is all there and not somehow lost in the binding. There are an additional 73 designs which are 1 page designs. Of those, 36 are repeating wallpaper pattern designs. There are a number of designs which are pretty but I cannot figure out how they relate to Disney Princesses. There are still plenty that have either a Princess on them or have other elements (such as Cinderella's coach) that relates to one of the movies. All of my markers bleed-through on this paper thought my Staedler triplus fineliners fared the best with more of a shadow image on the back of the page. I could still identify the color, so it merely bled less than the others. My gel pens worked fine and my coloring pencils worked fantastic – very smooth and creamy on this paper.

Great coloring book- a must have for Disney fans!
I love Disney princesses and I love art. However, I can't draw for anything. So when I saw this coloring book, I thought it would be perfect for me! I tend to have a lot of anxiety, and reading and writing calm me down and allow me to unwind, so I figured I'd give coloring a try as well. Seeing the pictures in the book, my only concern was that some of them would be a little bit juvenile, and reminiscent of a child's coloring book. However, once the book arrived, I realized this clearly wasn't the case. This book is awesome. I love the hardcover. It is sturdy and also makes it feel high quality, and geared for adults. When the book first arrived, I flipped through all the pages, and love all of the pictures. Several of them are actual designs using elements of the Disney princesses, that can be made more abstract, given a pattern, or just played around with. These are very easy to customize, and feel that they are your own artwork. Some of the other pages are more simple and feature pictures of the princesses. However, all of them have other elements in the background and are very nicely detailed. I was surprised to find that these pages were just as enjoyable as the patterns; there is something to be said of the simplicity of it and knowing which colors actually should be used. I like all of the pictures and designs in here, and I think the variety of them is perfect.I used both gel pens and coloring pencils, and both worked great. I was a little concerned that the gel pens would bleed through onto the next page, as they are heavy and the pages have pictures front and back, but they didn't bleed at all, so the pages are clearly sturdy. I have really enjoyed using this as another way to relax and unwind after a long day, and it is quickly becoming one of my favorite parts of the day, that I can relax, and color, shutting everything else out. I love this book!I bought this as a gift for several Disney princess loving friends, and they all loved this book as well! This is definitely a winner!

I love Disney and I also love to color
The media could not be loaded. I love Disney and I also love to color, so when I saw this in a Disney group I'm in, I had to have it! It's a beautiful book with a hardback cover perfect for collectors. The pages are not thin, and are very nice as well. There are a lot of black on white as well as white on black pages (which I like more because I feel the colors pop even more on those ones with the black backgrounds).Features a bunch of the princesses. They focused on the more popular ones like Belle, Tiana, Cinderella, Merida, Jasmine, Ariel, and Rapunzel, and Mulan. There might be one of Snow White or Sleeping Beauty, but no Pocahontas at all. There's a two page spread of a "scene" and it's the only one like that. The rest of the pages are of the princesses, mandalas, and various patterns.
