This bag is very durable. The release value is a little tricky to use.

I've had to use many of these urinary bags because of my condition and this one is by far the best one I've used.The metal clip is easy to manage when emptying the bag, the single hook is so much easier to hang than the flat one with several hook holes. This bag is thicker so it contains odor better than the others as well.This is just a much better drainage bag so spend your money wisely.

This product is easy to use and there is no mess at all when emptying. I especially like how easily fluid flows through the catheter to the bag. Other products I’ve tried, it took forever for fluid to flow from the catheter into the bag and it would cause the urine to back up in the catheter even though the product would say it didn’t. I would have to squeeze the area in the bag, the catheter flowed to and squeeze said area to get the urine in the bag. Anyone who has bladder issues and uses a catheter bag know this can cause pressure, discomfort and irritation leading to painful bladder spasms and burning. I am very pleased with this product by Bard and will be stocking up because the last few times at my urologist office, they provided me the other brand(whose name I didn’t use), but described above. I will keep the bags from my urologist, but will only use them in an emergency situation. I will be using Bard products from no’s on-especially this design.

I use this for night time flow where it lies at the end of it's long tube next to my bed, partly hanging from the L-bracket that keeps the mattress in place. It works fine and, after draining it empty, a bit of Dawn Antibacterial soap in the nozzle at the end of the tube will clean it all up when flushed with warm water from the nozzle of my bathroom sink with copious quantities of water to rinse it all out afterwards.
