Bucilla More Tiny Stockings Ornaments Cross Stitch Kit, Cotton, 2.5"x3" 14 Count Set, One Size

After completing rather a lot of the Bucilla felt stocking kits I thought I'd have a go at these cross stitch mini stockings as I hadn't done any cross stitch for quite some years.They turn out rather cute but putting them together can be a little fiddly and outlining the image is rather taxing!!They are lovely though and I am enjoying making them for our tree and a few for gifts.

I love these mini Christmas stocking projects and that the threads, aida and needle were included.I think the threads should have come numbered to make it easier to organise and the instructions should be clearer for joining the cross stitch part to the fabric part, maybe provide pictures for beginners.These will make lovely Christmas decorations and/or gifts.

Not what I was expecting. You have to cut all your own shapes out after drawing them yourself. You cannot cut out the pattern given because you will be cutting out needed information on the other side, so it has to be traced. Threads are ok but the instructions are not easy even if your use to cross stitch.

I'm really enjoying making these miniature Christmas stockings and the two I've finished look very cute. Pleasingly, the kit arrived sooner than I had expected. I think that having some experience of cross stitch is helpful for making these items but, once you get going, they are straightforward enough to complete. Unfortunately the threads aren't separately identified so it is necessary to work out first which thread is likely to be which colour and then to label them! Also, the amount of materials provided is a bit skimpy - there is not enough cardboard and no fabric glue, polyester fibrefill or hanging cord in the kit. However, I have made mine as stockings with an opening so that tiny gifts can be put inside. Overall, I am delighted with the results so far.

great little Christmassy things. you however do not get the stuffing or the card to finish the stockings but can easily be sourced elsewhere. another thing I noticed with the pattern is that on the cover picture is not always the same as what is on the pattern as in some bits mostly the long stitch are shown in the picture but not in the pattern. I think the needle has just a coating on it and it started to chip off but does not pose that great a problem but have a spare needle just in case. I am on my 6th one now but i don't think I will get them all done by this xmas! really enjoying doing them though and look great when done. I intend to put them on a string like a garland and hang along the fireplace. :)

Product arrived on time and was as described. Easy to follow patterns, my only advice is that the threads are not sorted into colours and on the cards so they took some time to sort out . Apart from that I am very pleased with the item

can't wait to start stitching - patterns have a lovely amount of detail.I'm planning to make them up with out cardboard in them - but with little pocket in the top for festive sweet.one difficulty I had to start with was sorting the threads - the threads are listed in quanties by yard - so I assumed that the thread lengths provided were yards - theya re actually 2 yard lengths - once I worked it out - all was good - but really would be easier if threads came in yard lengths as 2 yards is very unweildyhave given 4 stars as I am going to have to cut the 2 yard lengths to 1 yard lengths to make them manageable and useable and this is going tobe a time consuming activitySadly have had to demote this to 3 stars as tonight - being keen to get started on these I marked up the fabric provided - and there isn't enough fabric for 30 squares of 4 x 3.5 inch - in fact there was only enough fabric for 20 squares
