Did not work well for Kamado Joe Jr.
I bought this to use on my Joe Jr. They claim it will work, but I had issues with my fitment. When putting in the rubber adapter I still had a significant gap between it and the chimney cap. I had to install a felt gasket around the chimney cap in order to make it snug. By the way I even left the factory felt gasket on the Kamado Joe .

I melted mine.
So here is my issue. I melted mine. That's OK, my fault for taking it over 800 while cleaning my grill. The issue is that the replacement I ordered does not even fit my KJ jr. I am not sure why there is a difference in size but the cap will not even fit like it had before. The gasket is just too large to fit the Smokeware cap around it.
