OK Debut Novel.
This book was in one of the Kindle recommendation emails so I gave it a shot. Interesting premise but doesn't quite stick the landing. A pretty unlikable hero and some odd character actions at pivotal moments hurt the overall story.

⭐️⭐️⭐️
I gave it ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cause it’s just not as good as the other book, “Dark Ink.” I had a hard time getting into it, “Dark ink” pulls you in quickly, this one has a slow start

An intriguing story of the dead seeking justice through living proxies
Harry Hendrick is not always a sympathetic protagonist, but he pulls through in the end. I hadn't read suspense horror set in Australia before, but I enjoyed it. There were terms that an American wouldn't get, but the internet is a good resource - and reading an ebook in Kindle format makes searching even easier. Just highlight and tap. I'll be looking for more novels written by Gary Kemble.

BORROWED FROM THE LIBRARY
I'm giving this book 4 stars purely b/c of the plot and the ending. However, if I based it on character design 'Harry' would get 2.5 to 3 stars as I found myself irritated by him for most of the book.

Definitely Worth the Read
For a debut book, I was impressed. There were some aspects of the story that were predictable and a few references to Australian politics which was I didn't fully grasp as an American, but it didn't detract from my overall enjoyment.I look forward to seeing more from the author.

One of the BEST books I have read. BUY!
If I could give 10 stars, I would. This may be the author's first book, but he broke the bank on this. It kept me spellbound every chapter. Scary as hell in some parts. I'm ordering his 2nd book, Dark Ink, as soon as it comes out. Buy this book NOW! I have read over2000 books in my 64 years and this ranks in the top 20. I only wish they had put pictures of the tattoos in. This book was previously released in 2015 as Skin Deep.

Horror, mystery, corruption and sic ink in Brisvegas
I loved this story, it had so many elements it risked being a hot mess, but Kemble pulls it together like it couldn't be any other way.Brilliant page turner whose descriptions, colloquialisms made me homesick not only for my homeland, but for my other family the Aussie Army.Harry is a loveable, believable character who embraces the horror to seek justice. Loved it.
