Review: Amazing Stuff for specific applications - I used this product to attach security film to the window frame, and before I used this I didn't understand why this particular product was needed, I do now. This stuff comes out like a think glue and will stick to anything. I have used many different types of caulking and liquid nails type products but this stuff takes it to the next level. Some advice: use painters or masking tape to limit where this stuff goes, and just in case make sure to have some mineral spirits handy as this is not water based, and will not wash off, as I found out the hard way (which was my fault, didn't read all the instructions) On the down side, this stuff is very expensive and as such is only used for very specific applications, but works very well for those applications.

You will need a standard caulking gun to emit this sealant.

**Q: Can i use this for stone front (seal in between glass and the aluminum frame? is this matte black or shinny black when it dried?**
A: Indeed,  it can.  one of my windows has an unusual design, instead of an aluminum sash on the bottom of the window, the Dow 995 has been applied directly to the marble and the glass as this one window cannot be opened.   
As to your second question, it's clearly a semi gloss finish, I do believe DOW makes a matte finish.  The gloss isn't obnoxiously shiny, as that would be annoying as the majority of my window sashes and frames are matte black and high gloss would be unsightly.

I've also used the DOW 995 white, which is slightly less glossy.

**Q: can this dow 995 be used in place of glazing for setting glass in black window panes?**
A: Yes. It is often used as window glazing and is one of the best products on the planet to do so

We liked the product. It was the product specified for the project. It was used to install bullet poof glass in the doors for a school construction project.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Extremely durable

Used to seal the gaps in a broken sunroof. Car too old to justify fixing the sunroof so I sealed the cracks to avoid debris ingress and drainage issues. Black color matches almost perfectly, hard to tell it's been sealed even up close. Was able to get very nice seams using my finger as a smoothing tool. Consistency is very sticky and viscus out of the tube, had no issues controlling the material during application. Cure time is slow so give yourself some time to reach full strength. So far zero leaks, or tears.
