He is probably best known for his character designs for the anime Blue Submarine No. 6 and Last Exile as well as his giant full color manga like art books Robot amongst other creations. I own a few statues that have been created using his art work and this is my second favorite. The first would be the Alvis & Lavie statue by Alter. That's not saying there is anything wrong with this statue. I like the art work this has been based on. It has been recreated almost perfectly into PVC form. She is quite a lovely lady in a very relaxed pose. I love the contrast of her against the color of the chair that she is lazily lying upon. The chair is amazing but not as heavy as I thought it would be. I love when a statue has an interesting base instead of a plain black base. I've wanted this for a long time and when I found it in 'like new' condition at a great price, I jumped on it like a frog on its pad. This explains the condition of the box as you will see in the video I've added. The statue however is in almost perfect condition and I am very happy that I got her!So to end this review I can definitely recommend a purchase if you like this type of statue and can get it for a fair price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Best Range Murata I've Ever Seen *by E***I on Reviewed in the United States on June 9, 2010* I remember when I found this Picture online! The animation was so beautiful and elegant that it quickly became a favorite in my anime gallery. Once I learned who the artist was. I looked up more Artwork by him and found many more great pictures, but this one is #1. I love collecting Anime figurings, and once I found this one I nearly had a hart attack! This Figuring comes with the girl and the couch. Both have the best detail and not a single flaw! The Craftsmanship is 100%.
