Great for grinding engine parts
Great for modifying cast aluminum supercharger housing. When it came, part of the collet was stuck and the Milwaukee box seemed damaged but the tool itself worked fine after I pulled the collet out with pliers and applied some grease to it.

Manage your expectations
I am an industrial mechanic (think oil rigs, oil refineries, power plants, etc), it is a fast paced, heavy duty environment. The idea of a cordless die grinder has always been alluring to me given the sometimes remote areas I work in. This is an excellent product. The RPMs (0 - 21,000) are governable depending on how much you squeeze the trigger, which is nice for carbide burr bits, and the tool is light weight and easy to manipulate. I saw in previous reviews that people are having difficulty inserting quarter inch accessories into the collet. This is typical with new die grinders and gets easier over time. Unscrewing the collet just a little more will allow the bit to be inserted. I also saw that some people were having trouble removing a bit, that is the point of what is quite frankly a dangerous tool. Smacking the collet with the provided wrench after loosening it, releases the bit. This is true for every die grinder. All this said. This is not a heavy duty tool, however, DIYers or hobbyists would love it. If you're imagining a pneumatic die grinder that you've used in the past, you will be disappointed. Under heavy duty loads (cutting through greater than 1/16 inch metal with a cut off wheel, pressing firmly into a work piece with a carbide burr) the tool does bog down and sometimes stall. This tool is for light applications, if you're OK with that, this tool will serve you well and you'll enjoy using it.

It’s long, 14”. Works as advertised.
I thought this would be much shorter than it is. With a bit, and a battery it measures 14” tall. Just something to be aware of. I have the right angled as well. Having both is indispensable, especially if you want to have two different bits at once.

Tight spaces
Great for tight spaces. Works great as a Cutoff wheel tool but you’ll need a soft touch for grinding because it will shut off when pushed.

Convenient but has cheap switch
works well but for heavy use the switch wears out fast. Milwaukee warrantied it but still a hassle
