Original book 'Embraced by the Light' was much better! This book also repeated some of the content referenced in the original book as well. Still an enjoyable read though.

Dear BettyI have recently read all three of your books, and have just finished reading Tom Mills book The Soul's Remembrance. I had my own NDE many years ago when I was 19 in 1969. That experience changed my life. For thirty years I never told anyone about it. It was too personal of an experience and I was sure no one would believe me. Now it is comforting to hear other people's experiences. My time in heaven was very short but it left a permanent impression on me, a true life changer! The love and acceptance you feel in heaven is far beyond what words can describe.Growing up in my family there was no love only bickering, anger and fear. As grownups, my sister and I both feel like survivors. There were times when I was a young child I had to stay hidden under the porch, or would run to my hiding place in the woods in fear of our father. My NDE let me experience a truly safe place and a place of pure and total love. Thank you for writing about your experience in heaven and reminding us of the love that God our father and Jesus Christ has for all of us.

When every word reverberates in your heart and soul.Let me share something that I have learned. Symbols from ancient knowledge, have deep meaning. Yes, all things originate in spirit, and beyond physical dimensions. This is done through sacred geometry, and using constants which cannot be rounded off. They greatly exceed our simple three dimensions. These constants are the fingerprints of God.As their rate of vibration is reduced, they take physical form. They condense into matter. The ancient symbols are the sacred geometric symbols. And whether you look at subatomic particles, the elements, or galaxies, they are all arranged exactly the same. I love NDE's and Betty's is very descriptive, it sounds like she doesn't believe in hell, and it is plain in the Bible that some people will go there. My daughter recently went to heaven so the book was very comforting to me as I know she had accepted Jesus. I was glad she knew the light she met was Jesus, because the Bible says He is the light, and is the only way you can go to heaven through accepting him. She kind of inferred there are other ways, whoever people think is God, but either the Bible is true or it's not and I believe with all my heart it is true and Jesus said "I am the way, the truth & the light, no man comes to the Father, except by me.

Her truthAbout doing things that were not so Godly and then explaining that she knew it was t how we should act if we have love in our heart.I loved the story of David stone, again her truth and how at first she was caught up with the media but then realized the reason for the book was in that moment and she wasn't famous she was having a human experience and her task was to spread the message of GodTo love one anotherI still have t finished the book but I cannot put it downMy prey is to meet Betty her or in hea anThank you BettyI'm greatful to youGod bless you

The Awakening Heart has me looking at life alot different now I've read all Betty Eddie's books and have loved all of them before I read her books I was afraid to die, I'm definitely not anymore. I would recommend all three of her books to everyone I know.

I am almost done with this book. I read Embraced by the Light first. Both books are amazing. Betty's books have changed my outlook on life and death. I'm so grateful to have come across these books.

An important read in this great time of need. It brings to mind some of the characteristics of infinity, because of its unifying factor that integrates everything which can only be experienced in a now moment. Each soul is a unique gift of love to all of existence for all of eternity. In doing the right thing for each other we simultaneously bind without capturing and support without limiting. God loves to be loved as does every soul.

I have read several books about NDE's (near death experiences) but Betty's trip to the afterlife wins by a mile. I was so smitten with the author that I bought her other books which were all excellent. Reading this book requires a certain spiritual maturity and an open mind. And In stories such as these there are always parts that are difficult to believe. I take what is meaningful to me and apply it to my own life. Having lost a teenage son, I have found solace in her books. I would recommend it to anyone who has lost a loved one or those on a spiritual quest.

I’ve previously read this book from the library, then bought the book and yes i will read it again and again.
