Definitely a secure option
Bolted right on, just as described. Trailer is locked up and secure, whether hooked to my truck or not. Affordable, easy to take on and off. Feels beefy and secure.

Trailer security I was looking for
Well built easy to put on and off my utility trailer bull dog hitch

Good trailer lock
Works well with my trailer and its bulldog coupling. I paired it with the "Abus 20/70 KD B 70mm Body Extreme High Security Stainless Steel Disk Padlock" also from Amazon, and this makes a good assembly. I'm glad to say that I haven't had to learn the hard way whether it would really stand up to a determined assault by a bad guy, but I don't think it can be knocked loose, at least not without a lot of effort and noise. The collar is not cheap, but neither was my trailer - and I don't mind paying a little extra for an item made in the USA.

Dang tough!!
I’ve been lookin for a good way to keep my trailers with bulldog hitches from wanderin off. This is a very heavy duty lock that perfectly fits that style of hitch. I like that I can use it to secure my trailers on and off my trucks. If you are hesitating cause of the price, don’t. Just remember how much your trailer cost. I’m buying more now that I know how well these secure bulldog hitches.

Bulldog style hitch lock
In shopping for a bulldog hitch lock there is not many choices out there. This one seem to fit the bill in price and security. I like the style and easy to use but would have given it 5 stars if it was a little wider. I have a standard bulldog hitch and when this security device is installed there is room for the device to slide down the collar a bit. It does not slide far enough back to open the hitch latch but it is real close to the edge. If this collar was wider, there would be less room for the collar to slide back and forth on the hitch. So far works well and would recommend if you don't want to spend 3x the amount on another device being sold that covers the entire coupling.
