These are fantastic! So nice to look at at night
These are fantastic! So nice to look at at night. Most of the negative feedback was that they were not bright enough. I don't believe they aresupposed to be. Have worked wonderfully all summer. Makes the deck look great!

Poor Quality
These lights are poorly made. They are a cheep plastic, do not hold power for more than 3 hours, and barely light up at all. One of the lights doesn't even work. I wouldn't recommend this item to anyone.

Four stars for Easy Installation and Decorative Illumination
This product basically just identifies the perimeter of our deck. Does not offer any real illumination in the sense that I wouldn't recommend it as a sole source of light. But the eight lights we have around the perimeter of our deck look really nice from a distance and the solar power runs all through the night. In retrospect, I guess I wouldn't want the lights too very bright in consideration of my neighbors homes who are just ten feet away on either side. However, if you were attempting to light an area in a really rural area where you NEEDED the additional external light to illuminate a path or to enable you to see at night, I wouldn't recommend it as a primary light source. Strictly decorative.

Nice fence post cap, poor light
The product arrived on time and in good shape, placed it on a fence post that is in the sun just about all day. Allowed it ti charge for two days but it only had a very dim light, barely visible from 10 feet away. Changed out the rechargeable battery with a new fully charged battery and the illumination was slightly more visible the first night. The next night it was back to a barely visible light.

Looks great, but light doesn't last.
I purchased these lights to replace the exact lights I got last summer. I installed them on the posts of my black powder coated fence. They are really cute and I get lots of complements on them. The only thing I don't like is that two of them stopped working within 4 months. I tried replacing the bulbs but that didn't work. I decided it was less expensive to order new ones than it would be to return them or try to find someone to fix them. They work great while they work, just don't expect them to last.

Work very well
These lights don't provide enough light to illuminate much of an area but they are very good to identify where a post or other item is in the dark. During the winter mine would remain lit until 3am or so but in the Northeast early spring there is enough light to charge them to remain lit until sunrise. I like having the small points of light here and there and they are relatively cheap.

works great and lasts a long time
These lights are simple and they are bright and last a long time. I put them on my deck and the last all night.

Solar Post Caps
I just built an 800 sq. ft. deck that has about 16 posts. I put about 10 of these solar caps on the posts--and they work great! Don't forget to pull out the tab that's inside the top part--just turn the top, it'll come right off.
