Took this on my 10 night trip to Maui for snorkeling and it worked out great!
I bought this because I love to go snorkeling, but even in warm waters like Hawaii, I would get cold after about 30 minutes and want to get out. This has made my snorkeling so much better and I was easily staying in the water for 60 minutes and longer without getting that coldness and shiver in my core. I used it no less than 12 different times on my trip. It's easy to get off and on with the zipper and dries out fairly quickly even when it is soaking wet. It's way easier to manage than a 3/4 "shorty" type wetsuit.I'm glad I purchased it and expect to get many years of use out of it.

Good value—should be 4.5 stars for value
I just received this 2mm neoprene jacket, after an epic failure with a Sharkskin jacket from another supplier—on sale for $149. I followed their size chart and what came was 2 sizes too small. This one arrived today and while there’s a little extra room in the bust for me, it otherwise fits well and seems like a great deal for $40. I am 5’4”, 110, 34B and the medium fits very well. Zipper quality//ease of use seems good. The material is not as fancy as the Sharkskin ($200 new), but I’m over it. Can’t wait to use it for snorkeling in cool water as well as for some warmth during SUP use

This is a nice jacket but it didn’t fit my needs.
I needed something to keep me warm in our water aerobics classes where the pool is always freezing. This didn’t work because it was too much like a coat and I had to return it.

Cozy and warm
It keeps you nicely warm in cold water, vut that sizing chart is so off. The bust, waist & hip to weight ratio is just so wrong. It runs big in the torso but small in the arms.

So wish it was a tad tighter in mid-secrion
Husband is 6’ 1 and 170 lbs. we purchased the XL. Awesome wetsuits for the price and I wish it worked out because the arm length was great (he has long arms) and it hit him at a good length, a little below the waist. It fit really well there, shoulders and neck but there was a little to much air around his stomach and back. If he had a bigger belly it would have been perfect.

Men size works for plus sized lady newbie kayaker
So, as an older new-ish sport kayaker - definitely NOT someone who will be on class 4 rapids in survivalist conditions, but sedately paddling quiet rivers and bays - experts repeatedly say dress for the water temperature, NOT air temp. In case you fall in. For the plus size female weekend warrior - well, I guess overweight people aren't supposed to exercise, 'coz I sure couldn't find plus size "female" neoprene stuff easily. With hips about 57" and a 42-44 bust, took a risk on a "men's" 4XL. Yeah, it fit! Guess it was worth measuring myself and checking the size chart.OK, the arms are a bit long, but that's true for a lot of things for me. Yes, the longer length rolls up when sitting at the waist (I am 5' 3" which is borderline petite height, so clothes are always too long or too short for me - I actually like the longer length). But for kayaking IMO this is gonna do just fine, paired with neoprene pants and booties. I probably could have gotten away with a 3XL, but I wanted to be sure I had free arm movement.Read some comments about the zipper placement, I didn't notice so I guess the zipper is like a ladies and a typical "men's" zipper is on the other side? Or something. Maybe the "men's" could be considered a unisex. At any rate I liked the sturdy feeling zipper. (Personally, for swimming/scuba I would opt for a one piece top of the line neoprene suit, for the security so nothing rides up etc., but I didn't buy this jacket to scuba. It's to get out there gently sport kayaking sooner).Anyway, plus size ladies, the larger "men's" sizes might be worth a try - you won't have that hourglass woman's fit, but for me I will be wearing a life vest over anyway. And honestly I am not a fan of trying to make a fashion statement with sport equipment - tho with my grey trimmed neoprene pants and new booties, I guess I am lol. Hopefully I will never need the extra protection of a wetsuit where I go kayaking, and with the kind of kayaking I do, but better safe than sorry. Like this enough to order a second one, before all the large sizes sell out. This will probably be useful at the ocean in the fall, too, in moderate climates.

Order a size up
This wetsuit jacket is amazing! I ordered my usual size because I didn’t look at reviews. I returned it and got a size up and it fits perfectly. Keeps me warm and does the trick! Good quality! So nice to not have to wear a full wetsuit.

I put it on and take it off in the shower hoping to make it last longer.
The size is right, it is warmer than the last type I had and more buoyancy. From what I read in other reports, there was no itch or skin irritation. A great buy.

Good fit for a generous woman
Strong zip, stretchy, and a good fit for plump person. So arms tight but enough room for belly and boobs.
